How many people here believe that there is reincarnation. And has anybody had any experience's they'd like to share?
I really believe in it, too..I just can't see this being the only life for me to live. But tell me, pomunus, why don't you think it happens to everyone?
i agree with pomunus. i definatley beleive in reincarnation. but i also beleive that we all have the power to create our own after-life. and if you decide you don't want to come back, you don't. but i know there is some form of reincarnation. i have memories of memories, like, i remember remembering my past lives. i know that sounds weird. but i remember when i was 2 years old, and remembering that i was once a roman centurion, and i was in some wooden village, slaughtering everyone with my men. like, i could smell the blood and all that jazz. and i was only 2, so where did that come from? i have so many memories. it's strange.
dude, i know just what you mean. i have memories of some weird shit that feels like they took place in a different area during a different time, i have these memories i just cant explain
I could have written this myself, except for the Roman Centurian thing. But yeah, I have dreams that aren't my own, and I also have memories not from this lifetime. I used to think memories were part of the brain, which dies with the body, but I'm not so sure anymore because if that's so, nothing makes sense. And yeah, I think it is our beliefs that create reality, rather than the other way around.
I have memories of past life experiences. Just little snippets of three different lives. I have a friends who performs hypnotism & claims to be able to do past life regression. I have never had this done although it interests me, but ultimately I do not see the point. I live in the here & now and anything that I could be holding onto from past lives, I just need to let go. Just like I let go what happened before in this life.
The soul is the conscious principle of the material forms. Matter changes, spirit does not. It is indestructable and continues to exist FOREVER. We just take on these various forms temporarily. Yawn . . . . . after this body disintegrates, it's on to another character . . . . getting kinda boring to me. ~SAMSARA SUCKS~
I probably have the weirdest view of all... I believe that without eyes, i could not see the weird colours created by me. that without ears, i could not hear sounds and noises, oh so queer that without my mind, i could not think and i don't mean like when i've had too much to drink and I know the thought seems sick and twisted that one day I'll forget this whole world existed.
