1. The Hipforums announces it first ever fundraiser. After nearly 30 years online, we must ask our members and guests to help support the website. Thanks to years of ongoing financial support of our members, advertisers and volunteer admin staff, we have been able to keep the forums alive.

Now we must ask for help as available funds have all been used for our Internet server and other fees.

So please donate any amount to our PayPal account donate@Hipforum.com to keep the site going. If we can get enough for a few months fees, we won't need to nag you again!

I don't know why, but it's been burning in me to just move out of this state. I'm tired of the winters, I'm tired of the cost of living.

I feel as though I need to begin my life. Massachusetts doesn't offer what I need. My father's family-who I'm closest to-have all lived in the same area their whole lives and I feel like I can't do that anymore.

South Carolina sounds really good right now...

Anyone ever get this feeling? Anyone ever up and leave to start a new life?

yeah I know...I think of it this way...I have at least 2 years ahead of me at this college I'm going to...then I'm going to look at colleges nationwide and not limit myself to anything...wherever I land...I'll try making my life there...

I'm moving to Ft. Lauderdale in a few days on a whim.

No money, but I'm young and hardworking. There are going to be lots of opportunities.

And if there aren't I can always shake my ass on the street for a ride to somewhere new. I need some adventure in my life.

Oh yeah. Most of my friends will be living in Savannah soon and are trying to convince me to move down there. All day today I kept asking myself why I just don't pack up and go. Savannah is still in Ga....but at least it's not this shit hole of a town.

i live in SC...don't like it at all. too hot. too many ants. too many rednecks. too many bible-thumpers. virginia is beautiful though, but i'm biased since thats where i grew up.

Haha yeah man its been real good. Met some reeeal chill people, lots of good times here. I just want something a little more progressive. But ft lauderdale is pretty much completely different than where Ive been staying.

I think you've told me that before actually. haha, I've been drinking too much when I post here.

As long as I'm not going to a lesbian marriage in Pakistan, anythings probably more progressive then Texas.
