I agree though, punks are kinda lame.. if you're wearing a studded leather jacket that your mom bought for you, you're not hardcore.

 

I wasn't taking anything seriously. I was simply alerting you to the fact that I'm not some lamess, pseudo-punk fan who wears the same clothes everyday and claims to be hardcore. I don't mind people thinking I'm an asshole, but I'm no punk. :H

when did mtv ever claim to be anti establishment btw? i read that and started laughing...i think they know and are the exact opposite...if they were infact "anti establishment" they wouldn't be so fucking successful...please we all know the head of businesses like that and hot topic (which is owned by the gap) are all corporate suits....im not trying to be mean or anything but please think before you say something like this

And to water dreamer, I just meant that punk is full of people that shop at hot topic, watch mtv, then consider themselves hardcore punks. In fact, it's become extremely difficult to distinguish between poser punks(which seem to be 99% of them) , and actual punks.

 

That is all very true. However, don't you think that the same thing can be said about hippies? It's floating all over this forum, you know. Hippiedom can be a fad like any other.

Ok, Disregard everything in my first post... I was kind of angry, various reasons, just wanted to start some stuff. Other people start stuff all the time, so it was my turn. Once again, forget everything I said, the post was made in anger. I really don't dislike punks all that much, though it does annoy me that there are so many who claim to be punk and infact aren't.

Summing it up, i'm sorry, I was pissed, that was jsut a little venting.

[sarcasm]Actually...I've always wanted to be in group D, but my ex girlfriend told me that she was going to leave me if I ever joined group D, thus I had to join group C against my will, however, later on, as we broke up, I thought I was going to join group D, but this guy (some dickhead) had already joined it before me, so I thought joining group F was the best thing I could do, and believe me; even my mum agress; group F rocks!
Group F is simply the best, better than all of the rest!
