Hello there all wise and wonderful seekers! I came across a speaker, fairly ordinary man, who apparently went through the very extraordinary state of self-realization, which then became his permanent state of being. I've listened to some of his talks and; true enough, they make 'sense' in terms of, the talk about letting go of the old identity that is addicted and attached to a life full of distractions, comings and goings plus personal gain. He said something along the lines, that to realize oneself as the source and centerless centre of everything in consciousness, bring your focus, your attention back into this only real moment, now. He mentions that honesty, absolute uncompromizing honesty to this moment, and yourself, is the fierce fire of love/truth that pierces through the false/unreal identity we have built/gathered around ourselves. Now this is fairly typical talk in the spiritual circles but when he speaks about Oneness and Advaita sounding concepts of all being a mere reflection on the screen of our consciousness...it begs an answer to a question: is all that is, me, and in all of that, all is a dream-like play. Me playing out all roles, which obviously would put the responsibility and ownership over my life fully back to my court?! Fashinating anyhow, what's your comments, please share! In case you wanna check him out, it is: www.knowyourself.org/speakers/3/ ..sorry, am i allowed to paste it here? WS
