Hi all, new member here. I think I'll start with a little background info first. Being a young adult, I've only recently discovered the joys of nudism. I am currently a closet nudist, and have been for a couple of years. I would really like to shed some amount of the secrecy, and would really like to find others to socialize with who share my lifestyle, but living on a college campus and failing to meet very many new people, I'm at a loss for how to go about this. I have roommates, so shedding the clothes in the room is near impossible and very frustrating (as I normally sleep with nothing, but have had to give up this freedom). I have also scoured the internet and found no traces of like-minded people on campus. What am I going to do? How can I reach out to the other closet nudists out there? Where can I go or who can I talk to to find these potential friends?
You're entitled to sleep nude if you want! There's no reason to hide from your roommates. It's not as if you're inviting them into bed with you. Get on some of the internet naturist discussion groups. Nudists (most often we call ourselves naturists these days) are a pretty talkative bunch and they'll make a sincere inquirer welcome. http://www.sunclad.com/natforum http://www.netnude.com/ http://www.nudist-resorts.org/ As far as meeting other nudists at your college is concerned, I wouldn't be too hopeful. There are likely to be few or none. A very few people grew up in nudist families, but in general people get into it after leaving college. I mean, college students tend to be nervous about sleeping nude if their roommates might see.
How can I find people who are nudists or exhibitionists- I live in Atlanta and I like to be nude outdoors and have sex there or masturbate- anyone with the same interest?
I don't think any of this is unusual. It's easier I guess, if you live in the country, or can get there easily. I at least am fortunate in that way. Finding others, well, I guess this internet thing is useful that way.
For the time being you may have to leave it for the vacations. Travel around, find places that have a nude beach culture (e.g. the SF Bay Area) and plan on moving there when you graduate.
Don't worry, there are other people you age who are interested in nudism too. I started going to nude beaches at 16 but it took me awhile to find other guys my age interested in nudism. I just tried to be as open about it as I could - that took awhile too! When I first started college and was living in the dorm, I knew I couldn't sleep unless I was naked. So that first night I just stripped off and went to bed. My roommates never said a word. Then when we got a new roommate, he saw me strip for bed and he did the same. After that it was much easier being naked there. I'm still amazed how people will follow if you lead. Later on living in an apartment with a roommate, I just told prospective roommates I was a nudist. That turned off some people but I always had someone who was cool with it - at least that I was nude. My final roommate was a true nudist and we spent most of our time in the apartment nude, it really encouraged me. After that I lived on my own and am usually nude at home - depending on the weather and the heat! Good luck, we're out there.
Nudism has nothing to do with exhibitionism. Nudists stay right away from these people, and there is only one place for guys like you who are into public sex and masturbation: JAIL!
