Do you think the world is corrupt now?

I would have much rather lived in the 60s, todays society sucks, the music and everything. Was it that bad back in the day?

 

well, im not the person to whom the question is directed to, but i do believe that the world has always been corrupted.

 

The 60's weren't only about peace, love and rock and roll. Alot of major changes occured during that era, and alot of hate was passed around from people to people.
Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Malcom X, Fred Hampton... were all assasinated during the 60's.

And every generation has their Nixon.

And lets not even get into the draft... vietnam.
It's important to always remember that you are alive now. This is your existance. While the world may seem fairly dim right now, corruption has always existed within the human race, and unfortunatly it doesn't seem to be dieing out as fast as some proposed.
The beauty of the 60's is that it lends us a glimpse into the power we hold as individuals. That power is just as strong today, it's up to us to reach out and seize it.

Life is better now IMO. Probably a little more currupt than it used to be though.

My questioon is .Does it sicken you to see our people going with out proper health care and a proper education.When third world countries supossedly ran by drug lords like Cuba can give top notch health care to their people oh and by the way to us to if we happen to get hurt or sick in their country.Are we truelly suppose to believe the crap they shuvle at us ,and when do you deside enough is enough.Why dont we fight back anymore.We live in a free country yet we watch our congress man and president vote and veto votes that slowlly take them away. We are truelly the only people left that really believe in what are country was made of yet we allow a few bad apples and a few stereotypes to keep us scared of going to jail and ineviably quiet.Why? Since when has fear ever been an option when it comes to our freedom?
Oh excuse my spelling.I'm the product of such a successful American education system.But this does not hold back my ideas.:bigear:

 

I think the world has been getting worse and worse. There's more corruption, hate, violence everyday, with no signs of it quitting.

Like it has been said, the world was always corrupted. Why are we here? Maybe we are here to realise it and to do something about it. Every small action can have its impact. Every time we help someone or fight for something fair, we are making something important. I believe it is not pointless. Life is hard and society sucks, ok. However, anything we do is a little positive change and can lead us to a better world.

 

Same here i would have rathered have lived in the 60's the world is getting more and more corupt everyday. No the music was awesome we have the beatles, jimmy hendrix, pete seegler.

 

The world has always been corrupt. Back in the time where there were monarchies and kings ruling their own kingdom. You can't escape it, it's part of human nature. Greed is human nature. Don't ever say you've never been greedy, because that is a blatant lie. You can't escape the corruption, it has been happening since before we even knew about it. If you want to go ack into an era where there hasn't been corruption, choose to go back into the prehistoric era, I'm sure the dinosaurs didn't corrupt the civilization back then. Why do you think the hippie era began? The 60's were just overflowing with corruption and negativity.
