    Agreed Bill
My son just turned 2, and I have no problem taking
L when he is in the home, but I cant imagine taking
it with him when he is older.
BUT, I would NEVER take mushrooms again when
he is in the home. The last time I did I was basically
rendered next to unconcious and though nothing
happened, I still feel deep regret for even presenting
the potential setting for danger. Live and learn sure
but L never once took me out of my head like
    mushrooms have.

kids do not need authority. they need parents who explain why. children are more capable than most understand. you can explain why a child should or shouldnt do something in a way that will have them make the correct decision on their own. sometimes you have to physically stop the child before you have a chance to explain to them why they shouldnt do whatever it is they were doing or about to do. the natural reaction to authority is rebellion. your child will resent you for telling them what to do instead of helping them understand how to make the choice on their own. at what point do you realize that your child is an individual? the sooner you realize how intelligent and capable young children are of making their own decisions(with your help and guidance) the better off your child will be.

wonderful example... all creatures including sober people get a contact high when close to people tripping. as soon as you get close to a person tripping on psychedelic drugs you can actually notice the contact high.(a lot of people dont notice because they dont think of it)

    Im only 17
but I would do LSD w/ my child if they ever asked.
I'd explain LSD (dangers and benefits maybe slightly later on tho) to them and make sure from a decent age they understood the truth before a biased anti-drug robot got to them... or if they ever had any questions based on something some biased liar told them i'd clear it up. I would never openly offer them anything unless they asked. I wouldnt want to be responsible to opening them up to such a socially unexcepted thing tho. I found LSD based on my choices and decisions in life... if he or she discovers LSD... good for them... if he or she doesnt... good for them.

    on another note

I'm 21 and want to do psychedelics with my parents

Really, if the mood opens itself, I am going to bring the subject up once my mushrooms are done growing.

I see it as sort of like, the shamanistic hierchy so to say. The elders have things to teach.
If I ever make babies. I am certainly going to teach them all the tools of the trade I have learned over the years.
Really thats my only interest in making babies. So I can forge like a master artist and tripper.
Like the primary qualities I look for in potential women for relationship is, do they trip and are they spiritual, then furthermore have they developed there own tools of spirituality?

So far my pursuits have failed.

But at what age introduce them to psychadellics? I believe ancient societies did it at like the age of 12. That may be too early. I think I would let them know about it once entering high school, then wait for there curiosity to bring them back. Which judging by the state of high schools in my area.... that could really only be a matter of months.

But really. I think it's a big problem in America no parent teaches there children real spirituality. Like touching on hindu mythology, meditation yoga. It almost seems like a taboo here. Like parents are afraid of the power of suggestion as in "if I introduce it to them, then they are permanently going to be believing in this, its just best not to teach ANY spiritual matter and let it develop on their own". Really my parents taught me nothing of spirituality. Absolutely nothing. I've had to figure it all out by myself and with the help of the internet. I really don't want any children I make to have to do that. It really just seems sad that society has reached a point where saying 'go to school' has become more important than saying how to develop yourself internally.

Which is part of the reason I do want to get my parents on mushrooms. So that I can teach them some things, which I know will then cause them to give something back.

dude as soon as she is old enough, do it. My parents introduced me to drugs and i am a better person for it. I learned at an early age that drugs can be a problem if you let them be but they only have power over you if you let them. psychological addiction always comes before physical addiction, no exceptions. Anyway it never seemed to harm me to much. I could even go so far as to say it made me closer to my parents.

Well in all honesty there is nothing that an honest search for
God can not do for a human being, so LSD is not a requirement
to being a respectful human being. I would never tell my son
that LSD is a necessary tool to utilize in order to reach out to
the Divine. Love is what matters, and through the many kalpas
of reincarnation, we have assembled a karmic structure which
decides who takes LSD and who doesnt, and any interference
would be cruel. Wonderful things can be said to a developed
child who can be trusted about the beauty of LSD, but that is
as far as I would ever go. Besides, discovering it on your own
is far more exciting the first time around then having
preconceived notions at the direction of a parents opinion.

You cannot make babies just to teach them. What about love? What about love to the new life? What about love to the other person with who you gonna make babies?...

Good luck with that search. What are the possibilities that you'll find a girl that is perfect in everything you want next to you? If you ask me when it comes to that YOU don't exist at all. Love doesn't ask you for your opinion. Stop searching and let it happen. You'll never find completly perfect partner. Relationship is about making a compromiss you'll have to shape each other to suit each other. You'll have to sacrifice some of your ideals for the loved one and vice versa. Maybe she won't be spiritual at all or tripper but those are some qualities that you can awake in her and she can also do something for you. You never know. Most of the things I said I don't want happened and love just leaves you "out of your shoes" if you know what I mean.

Are you sure about that? They grew up differently than us. I'm sure they did the best they knew. I'm sure they tought you about most important thing LOVE. And what makes you think that you will be perfect parent and that you'll do it proper way. We can learn so many things from the books and movies,etc... and have teoretical knowledge about everything but when it comes to life you can't go strictly by the rules. All depends on the moment (what is the situation, your knowledge and knowledge of the others, state of your mind and others, emotions....so many things involved) Let it flow, let it flow.

it is a basic principle that mamals immitate the behavior of others. the 'smarter' the animal, the more 'unnatural' the behaviors that they mimic can tend to be.

more specifically, they imitate the behavior of their friends, or those who they want to show affiliation to.

there are neurons, mirror neurons, which relate other animal's movement to our own responses, and enable us to understand the states of other animals.

monkeys are often taught tricks initially by mimic-games and then by reinforcement.

sometimes you will see dogs, the most immitating, and social, of typical domestic animals, smiling in the company of humans, or even walking leftleft-rightright pattern, similar to human bipedal steps, which is different to the usual four-legged leftright-leftright walk which is: one front foot and one opposite backfoot stepping forward at a time, or four legged gallop, where it is both front legs then both back legs. it is unique to humans and thus dogs must have started doing it in imitation of their owners.

something about being on lsd makes people seem very different to animals.

Yes, the rate of vibration is changed dramatically.
The frequencey at which the mind's vibrational
thought runs and the energy generated from a
person seems to interact with animals in a way
that humans can just barely sense.
I guess its the intuition of the animal, sort of like
when they run to higher ground when a bad storm
    is coming.

Yeah, good stuff Stonerbill you have taught me something today :) .
This is along what Relayer was saying, but have you ever seen when an energetic person (outwardly or not) walks into a room with others already in it, and the animal just gets really happy and starts acting all goofy, whether or not the animal knows the person? I think animals can 'pick up' on our energy/mental levels, and on lsd we're particularly 'active,' so the animals sense this and react to it.

The only experience I had with animals while on Psychedelics was when I did mushrooms with John. The cats who are ultra chill, just lazy pet me, feed me and let me sleep kinda cats were going crazy, especially one of them, Midnight, the cat kept running around us and jumping and we were just sitting on the floor.
I think animals, or at least cats can sense any kind of weird mental activity going on and to see it was really amazing.

i have a feeling that animals take tripping people very seriously, i dont think it is like 'animal intuition' but i think it is related - almost as if a tripping person does not act in a way that the animal has seen before, and thus the animal will pay close attention to the person, as if that person is the most in-control of all.

like, animals sense where control comes from. it is almost an instantaneous perception of animals to different extents, that can pick up where a reaction originates. this is where status develops - a high status animal will be driven internally. to see how this can be detected, think of externally driven reactions and behavior. a fearful animal will react in synchronisation with the thing it fears. since one must come first, it is merely a matter of the brain percieving the first movement in a sycnhronisation as being instigating, and the following movement as a reaction.

for example when a human male tries to show his dominance by faking a punch. his dominance will be almost perfectly relative to the amount that his victim flinches in coordination to his fakie.

or the synchronisation of a teenage boy's eyes quickly shifting away as the sexy older woman peers straight at him.

when an animal is synchronising itself with the world, it is in submission.

when on LSD, or other psychedelics, such a wealth of information that goes through consciousness originates purely in the mind itself. tripping people are more inner-driven than, for example, sober people, or generally timid/anxious people, or other animals.
it can be that a tripping person may be very scared and hyper-alert, but if the person is calm or happy, they will be reacting so much more to their inner states than to the state of the shared-physical-universe, that to animals they will appear to be dominant, or at least, not submissive.

many animals dont 'smell' fear as much as they see it in the synchronisation of another animal's movement to their own.

this is just my theory though, about people on lsd appearing dominant to animals.

the animal is experiencing a contact high... in other words the animal is high with you. not as high is you are but they definitley feed off of your energy. you dont need to touch a person to experience a contact high you only have to be in their energy field.

I think so too, I know I've experienced contact highs while being completely sober surrounded by people who were high on something and I think animals are more sensitive to it.

I would have loved to talk about LSD with my parents on a sort of secure level where it's not like, "I'm just somebody taking drugs to take drugs", type of thing.

I think it would be cool for you as a parent to accept the curiosity they may have in them sort of things, but to actually trip with your kids does seems a bit weird / awkward, but then again there are different kinds of bonds between different types of families. You may understand LSD, but will your kids know the spiritual benefits and background before they trip?

Also how does their curiosity arrise in it when the day comes? Was it their idea to attempt it? Was it because a friend offered? Is it because other kids are trying it and he/she feels curiosity? I personally researched it and was highly interested myself, and then as I finally got a hold of some was surprised by the amount of people around me who were trying LSD. Didn't even know.
