...how much do you do? most of us have unlimited number of wishes and dreams and we smtimes tend to boast about them... like: oh....!my dream is to make this world better, to make peace and love reign but in reality how much are you determined to prove your words and make them real deeds? i can confess that very often i lose motivation and stop fighting but instead i get new dreams....
Depends on your dreams/goals really.. some are hard to achieve but possible, and some are just plain unrealistic. The more realistic your dreams are, the more likely you can achieve them.. But you can never try hard enough anyway..
I'm glad I can say that I'm pretty persistant and so I usually make my dreams come true...If there's something you really want, you MUST do everything that's in your power to make it real....But, of course, you have to be careful about what you wish for....
I think its better in life to have no specific goals and just to take life as it comes, trying to experience as many different things as possible. Having a goal narrows our mindset and limits the amount of things/people/experiences we could come across in our lifetime. Also goals are made at a particular point in our lives, but we are changing all the time and so our goals must change/cease to exist as well.
I have edited this thread to make the title more descriptive. Please put some thoughts into your titles. "Teaser" style titles which furnish no clues as to the subject of the thread are not descriptive and from this point forward they will disappear.
i've always thought goals and dreams are different things one my good friend once said: dreams are unnecessary unlike goals, but your goal can be to lead aimless life... i personaly think dreams are vital in russia we say: the more you dream about, the more you achieve yes, aims or dreams can change but striving to them, struggling to make them come true makes us wiser and helps to understand ourselves and the world itself better
my dream is to have a job i dont hate, live comfortably, and hopefully retire by 60. the more good i can do in the world before i die, the better, but i'm trying to keep my dreams small and attainable.
my dream is the kind of world i'd rather be living in (that twisty little world of twisty little houses and trains and people sized everything and all that sort of thing i'm always going on about), and the only thing, almost the only thing anyway, i've ever figgured had a snow flakes chance in hell of doing anything about it, is running off at the keyboard places like this. =^^= .../\...
Quite a bit lately. I said in another thread that my dream is basically to kick ass musically, and I'm trying to as much as possible.
