I was just wondering how many of you have experience dropping at concerts or other crowded music festivals? How much did you do?(Not in hits obviously, how hard were you tripping?) Was it a positive experience? I will be attending a Tool concert later this month and I plan on taking 2 hits (what I usually take for a trip). I'm not too worried as I still have control on 2 but all my friends are saying I'm crazy. I've taken quite a bit of time off of cid now to make this experience as mind blowing as possible, so I'd love to hear your stories.
I personally find concerts to be a great place to trip, but that's just me. I wouldn't worry about the other people, because think about it - half of the people there are going to be shitfaced drunk and you will be very much in control, calm, and respectful compared to them, so it's not like you will stick out as being particularly fucked up. I took 2 hits at Bonnaroo this summer and I ate a hit at Phil Lesh about a week ago and both experiences were fantastic. Neither time did I trip particularly hard, just a nice mildly visual, light trip, but it was enough to help me get really lost in the music and dancing and whatnot. So, all in all, I recommend it. 1-2 hits should be a great time for you.
Aside from a few Grateful Dead and Other Ones shows, the only concert I've tripped at was when I saw Frank Zappa in November of 1981. It was the best concert I've ever experienced, and I enjoyed every note of the whole show. Just be sure you have a designated driver and stuff.
Dosing at concerts is great. I tripped face at the australian pink floyd show last night and really enjoyed myself. All other previous experiences at concerts and festivals have gone really well too. I dont know how I would feel about trippin out at a tool show though. Just not my type of music to trip too.
I actually dropped 2 hits for tool when they played bonnaroo. I completely recomend it! Go for it man!
man, sometimes AMAZING! sometimes really no good. I saw Micheal Franti on psychedelics and my legs disapeared and I thought the crowd was going to stomp me, and everyone was pushingg and I was just toooo high...though it was a nice time all in all I must say, I ended up floating away to care-a-lot...oh my. But if it feels right do it up! acid makes life music REALLY good...
On the second day of Vegoose i found some extremely good acid. I took 2 hits before Infected mushroom played. I was trippin balls! Hardest trip i have been on so far. Best acid ive had 2. It was awesome. Got to see Rage Against The Machine on acid which was pretty fun, Muse was awesome. I was trippin soooo hard durin muse. Great stuff! Tool would be awesome on some good Cid especially since they have all these lights and lasers and huge screens in the backround playin really trippy stuff. I saw them a while back. Amazing concert!
I saw the Disco Biscuits On October 27th and i ate 2 hits before the show. Damn, that was the best cid i've ever had. I was tripping decently hard, some good visuals, but not too intense. Great show too btw.

I think concerts are an awesome place to trip When i am tripping in that sort of environment it makes me feel like a little kid again. i want to run around and dance and talk to people. the world is my dance floor. wheres my partner? if youve done acid before and know what to expect i pretty sure it would be easy for you to decide if you can handle it or not. have fun!!
