Hi, I am new to Hippy.com and just wanted to introduce myself. For the last ten years I have worked as a Police Officer here in Australia and have steadily become totally disenchanted with both the so called criminal "justice" system and also our materialistic (let's-buy-lots-of-new-"stuff"-to-make-me-happy) society. Although I have no regrets about the job I did - I always tried to be fair and I know I was always honest - I just think there are better, more positive, ways to spend my life. Although I may not agree with everything on this site (especially in regard to drugs) it just blew me away today when I read (in a local newspaper here) that President Bush has spent $20,000 U.S. per house hold on the war in Iraq so far....so this is what happens when you have a red a**ed God fearing ape in charge of your government? Man, I've concluded we really are going to hell in a hand basket and it is time for the ordinary man and woman to peacefully voice our frim opposition to these muppets and opt out of their very destructive view of the world. If people like me can see this, believe me, their is hope.

You won't find all the questions to your answers here, but we'll walk along with you. Walk gently on our Mother Earth and encourage others to do the same.
