My Japanese is still rather bad, but hopefully passable for someone thats only there 2 weeks (I can order a drink and a meal of a menu in Japanese, ask where something is etc), all our accomadation is booked, and I'm almost peeing my pants with excitment! Me and my bf are spending the first 5 nights in Tokyo, with 3 in central Tokyo and 2 in Akasaka, then onto Mt Fuji for 4 nights. Oh my god Japan sounds so totally awesome! Yeah this is kinda a pointless post, but I am just so excited. :p

Japan IS totally amazing. I wish you a safe journey and hope that you have a fantastic time.

Just remember etiquette is very important and don't freak out if there's an earthquake :)

Well you're only there for 2 weeks, so I don't think it iwll be necessary. Plus, you're mainly staying in Central Toyko, therefore they will know that you're a tourist.

However, things like leaving your chopsticks in food etc...just don't do it. Never leave your chopsticks in a bowl of rice...ever!

Aye money doesn't last long in Nippon. Definately go and check out Suidobashi, Tokyo. You can go see Toyko Dome and ride rollercoasters etc :D or even better...Fuji-Ku theme park!

Have you been to Harajuku district yet? It's worth checking out, especially on a Sunday, plus it's right next to Yoyogi park and the Meiji-Jingu Shrine. Well worth checking out :)
