Hey guys First up top forum, really interesting reading whats going on in the finest city on earth. I am taking my 4th visit to the city in the last 3 years and this time I thought its time to get the hell out of the hole (England) and celebrate xmas in Amsterdam with my wife. I took her for her birthday last year and we loved it, so what a better place to go then at christmas right? we are 27 years old by the way we have the hotel booked, we have a meal sorted for christmas day (staying 24th to 27th December) Basically I was just wondering if anyone could give us any tips on making this a extra special christmas, we are not smokers but am quite willing to go to coffee shops just to soak up the atmosphere, love to drink the fine beers and lagers and love to see new things and meet new people. any tips on making it romantic, funny, shocking, or just plain crazy would be great. I understand alot of places are going to be shut over the period but we are just happy to be there. Any info would be great. Thanks Alex
