[IMG] Could some of you take a look at these buds and answer a couple questions:

    - Is this bud 'ready'? (white to red pistils, etc.)

    - I get little, teeny brown leaves within the maturing bud...and was wondering if I'm doing something wrong or is this normal for certain strains?

    As always, thanks!

im not an expert or anything but they look pretty close. if you look at the little crystals(its easier with a magnifying glass) if some are golden then its about time to harvest. if most are still white or clear then from what ive heard it need a bit longer to get more potent. i can see a few crystals but its hard to tell from the photos. maybe some other people can give some better info about when to harvest.

Don't over think harvesting!>) Unless this is the last crop you'll ever grow......

When you think they're ready, cut a couple of buds, dry, taste, repeat in a few days.

    After a few harvests you'll be a expert too!>)

Donvito, The thing about tric color is that when they change color they also are changing Chemically; Clear trics contain CBD's, when they turn golden CBD's change to CBN's which also results in different medicinal traits=>)

The one I have cost $15 at Radio Shack and works great. You really need only 10x or so, but one with a light is helpful. Ditto what Naturalhi wrote on readyness. Also I like to cut the main colas and then letb the lower buds go for a little while longer.

Thanks all. Does anyone have a comment on the little brown leaves I get in between the maturing buds? Many have good 'sticky' properties...but they don't look the best.
