[font="]Alright, I need something for a 5-6ft long by 2ft wide closet grow area. I'll be growing 6 plants in this area, what would be a good type light to get that wont produce a huge electricity bill? Also, where is a good place to get lights locally? [/font]
well first off i think ur gana have a have lots of troubles trying to 6 plants in that small of a space. and if u do plan i growing 6 plants gana need a 400w hps light and locally that would be hard to find, some hydro shops might have it but the best bet would be to go online and then ur gana need in intake and outtake along with a carbon scrubber if ur growing in a closet. i think ur best bet would be to go with maybe 2 or 3 plants and use cfl's (compact flouresents) and those can be bought anywhere like Walgreen's walmart and any hardware store. for veggy your gana need full spectrum daylight cf l's from 5500-6500k and for flowering ur gana need soft white cfls 2700k. if u want a couple decent size plants ur gana about 170w of cfl's and prob evan more which will prob be around 8-10 light bulb dependeing on type. thats pretty much how my setup is and it works fine cfl's are a great way to grow, and don't under estimate them
