i like working class hero, god, i found out

i have a big box set that i got of his

 

Yeah John did the best solo stuff of the beatles in my opinion. I think I like his beatles work better though

 

I like all of John's Stuff my favorites are Imagine, Give Peace a Chance and Working Class Hero

 

I'm a huge John fan(as you can tell by my sig). some of my favorites are Woman, Jealous Guy, God, Imagine, Nobody told me, Mind games, Love, working class hero, just like starting over, stand by me, ect.

 

I love John's work too. All the songs you guys have mentioned, I love as well.
But one of his songs that really hits home for me is "Mother".
It is such a beautiful sad song of total abandonment and loss of a family.

Ironically enough, I am currently watching "John & Yoko's Year of Peace" on VH1 Classic.

 

I adore John Lennon almost to an obcession point but not quite there. I think John Lennon was an amazing person -- a musical genius if you will. I love John and think he wasn't only a great contrubution to the music world but a great contribution to the world in general! Let me just say I love The Beatles (a lot) and love John's work there, but without John Lennon there wouldn't even be any Beatles! so to me his solo work was just so ahh!, so touching and unbelieveable! everything he did was fantastics, and to prove it his music and legacy is still being pasted around! i think i love John Lennon because his troubled childhood is just like mine and i think i can relate to him (which is kinda scary). To top i off he is my idol and musical role model. if it wasn't for him i would have never gotten involved in music. So to sum it up, John Lennon is a beautiful, amazing person whom I love! and i think all his songs were amazing and great esp. Mother and Real Love
