I guess I was, I'm just extremely stressed out right now and tired.

And since I'm trying to sober up my lifestyle, I just did a bunch of pushups and I'm gonna go run like 3 miles instead of getting ripped to deal with stress.

    Peace

Yes, you really really really really need a break.

If you consider me to be judgemental, then... sweet Jesus man, you'll die out there.

People will always judge you, everyone judges you. Learn to stop giving a shit.

What if more people joined the Peace Corp. and less joined the Marine Corp.?

What if we dropped food and water upon our enemies instead of bullets and bombs?

What if we sent contractors to build homes in foreign lands instead of weapons?

What if we shipped clothes and toys to all the children of the world instead of billions of dollars of weapons to foreign "allies"?

What if we smiled at everyone we met?

What if we helped anyone who needed it at anytime?

What if we visited the jails every week and just listened?

What if we hugged our children and read to them every day instead of sending them to their rooms to play video games?

What if we gave our children our attention more than toys or gadgets?

What if we wept again at funerals?

Than our lives' and others lives' would truely be hippy happy! awww what a wonderful thought! thax my man...[IMG] that would be a great way of life for a great world!

I don't give a fuck if you judge me, I'm talking about your generally judgemental attitude toward others.

You crack me up. I'll die out there? Do you really think Ive lived my entire life behind this computer or something? I've been through a lot in life, and have seen a lot. But I dont feel the need to act like everyone else around me is naive because they lack my perceptions. Thats such a lame way of thinking.

And something tells me youre not so condescending in person. Because the main difference is, I could actually punch you in the face.

Everyone is judgemental of others. If you read 99% of my posts here, you will find them rather silly and not very judgemental. Some of them pay be opinionated, but not necessarily judgemental.

Yet again, stop taking what I say so seriously and so much to heart. I am not condescending at all in person, and neither am I online. You are the one who chooses to get offended by what I say.

I just say what I see. I alot of things in this world amuse me greatly, and so do alot of ideas. If I disagree with something, then I'll argue about it. I do not see someone arguing with me or with what I believe in as a personal attack, it's an argument. This forum would be very dull without the occasional ideological argument... hell, life would be dull without them.

The fact that I disagree with you does not mean that I'm trying to bring you down on any level. I have nothing against you, hell... I can even say that I don't enough of a fuck about most people to actually dislike them.

You'll love me if you ever meet me in person.

I agree, arguments and exchanging ideas are good things for stimulating the mind and life.

But I really think you just need to drop the attitude that everyone is going to die out in the real world when you don't even fucking know us, what we've already gone through, or currently going through.

Just because someone might get offended or frustrated online doesn't mean they are inept in their life. And it bothers me equally if someone is bashing someone else unnecessarily online or bashing me. Ive been posting in this thread in someone elses defense.

The way everyone started talking shit instantly about the original post was ridiculous. People just don't act like that in real life, at least to me.

I never said I would punch him, or even wanted to. I said I could. Meaning people don't talk like that to me in person because the threat of getting their ass kicked is there.

In other words, I'm saying his online personality is fake.

You see, that's my point. My so called "attitude" is not directed at you, or Libertine, but at the issues that are at hand. If you introduce an issue, be ready to defend it, or at least know that people may attack it.

I will not limit my wonderful free speech just because I tend to offend or frustrate. I make sure to talk shit about things that I find ridiculous in life. Yet again, I've seen so many of these bullshit "love everything, blah blah" slogans... and yet again, blind idealism is something I have a lot of problems with.

Libertine's intentions were good, of that I'm certain... which is why I wasn't arguing with Libertine... I was just addressing his post, what it says, and what it represents.

Arguments can easily be good fun. This could have actually been a fascinating argument on the positives and negatives of idealism without realism or something among those lines. The problem is that someone let it get to them emotionally... and that's when logic is kicked to the curb.

thats exactly what I just fucking said.

Just because he doesn't say something like that to someones face who will freak out and fly off the handle does not mean he is fake

You got me. I'm actually a 45 year old work-at-home online marketing employee. I live in my parents' basement. The company keeps me employed because I am a master at subliminal product advertisement.

Reading this post has actually increased the chance of you buying Head-On headache relief products by 45%.

I may be fat and lonley... which forces me to pose as a confident 20 year old on the internet... but man, I sure do apply it directly to the forehead.

I'm a chill person. Its funny how youre trying to turn it around on me like I'm the irrational one who can't control myself and would fly off the handle.

I've only ever fought people in self defense. I don't swing first. You don't even know me man. I'm just pointing out how fake and tough people can act online, because the internet is really the only place I encounter this kind of shit. Maybe its because we are all writing our thoughts down, I don't know.

    Yes... very good point.

I won't go up to a bigass fratboy and tell him that I disagree with the principle of fraternaties and actually see them as extremely homoerotic.

I may be right, but that would get my ass kicked... I'm a little smarter than that.

...and yes Deviate, it is easier to talk shit over the internet, but I challange people over stuff like this in real life at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I don't go out looking for arguments... but people need to be challanged.

Per example... they had the "Iraq Moratorium" here on campus on Friday. It was a bunch of the hipster kids standing around with signs that said "End the War" and other stuff like that. They are all good friends of mine, we drink that wine... but if I see them doing something silly, I shalt comment on it.

This one guy got up and started preaching about how the war was bad, and blah blah blah... stuff that I agree with, yet I had to ask a simple question, which caught his off guard. "How?".

I did try to challange the rational behind trophy hunting once. I just picked the wrong group of rednecks... but even they didn't threaten to kick my ass, they just got a little pissed off :)

So honestly... do you punch every person who disagrees with you? You can punch me, that's fine. I can take one. I won't punch you back though... I'm actually all about that peace and love stuff :)
