I love 2 Many DJ's!!! Danced to them at Leeds Festival....amazing!!!

A lot of dance music, the hardcore, happy hardcore, trancey anthem stuff reminds me of times and people I'd rather forget.
And I've always hated almost all chart dance music.

    I don't mind D'n'B though.

    Those guys were hillarious!!

Hmm, if you mean the Babylon in Bath I'm afraid you're going to a meat market rather than a D&B night!! Still, usually quite good fun in there if you don't mind ignoring the freshers trying to shag in the toilets all the time![IMG]

Anyone else old enough to remember the heady days of jungle in the mid-nineties? Mad stuff. Anyway, drum n bass came out of jungle. Basically very fast breakbeat techno with a heavy dubby bassline. The breakbeat itself is now ubiquitous and associated as much with triphop as DnB...

yeah, they do have a few good nights in Babylon's, when I get down there with a bunch of 40 yrold fogies we have a great time. it's just annoying that there aren't any club in the area that aren't full of kids trying to get laid as it really ruins the atmosphere of a club, maybe I was just naive at the time(or too pilled up!) but around the closing years of the 90's people seemed to start seeing clubs as places to go and pull rather than places to enjoy themselves in good company, shame really.
BTW there's a good oldschool night happening out in Swindon next friday, I can't make it but a few mates are going and it sounds like a good one...

LOL! it's the little kids like that who really annoy me, most of the kids probably aren't old enough to drink in the first place and not one of them understands the concept of a good night out being something other than too much drink and either a fight outside the kebab shop or a knee trembler in a back alley!

ok, I'll admit it, I have a prejudice, I hate chavs when they're out on the town! Normally they can be pretty decent people but get a bunch of them out on the piss and they're a bunch of arse holes!

DJ Hype usually puts on a pretty good set, very housey...

I can't remember the name of the place or the night and I'm at work at the moment, I'll post it when I get home tonight...
