thinking about a clit piercing...

hey gals and guys. i've been thinking about a clit piercing and been into it for a long time... only problem is, i'm hesitant because i kind of have this fear of needles what do i need to know... side effects? possible issues? taking care of it? etc? and also, i orgasm really easily, so i wasn't sure if having a clit ring would be too much, since i've heard they can increase stimulation. thoughts?

 

My friend got hers pierced and lost all sensation. Have fun with that. You could always get your hood or labia pierced. But it's your body and your choice. I would just make damn sure the person has done that piercing before.

 

Do you want a clit piercing or a hood piercing? A good majority of reputable piercers will not pierce the clitoris itself because of loss of sensation. The Clitoral hood is much easier to pierce and there are relatively few side effects.

yeah, i meant a hood piercing. i actually didn't even know it was possible to pierce your clit. i wouldn't dare do so

I had my clit hood pierced twice, both horizontal. Once it migrated, second time was deeper and I still have it. The first time bled for a little bit, the second time very little bleeding but lots of swelling for the first week. I LOVE my piercing! It looks so hot. It doesn't really add anything sexually, but it doesn't take anything away either.

 

ive heard that clit hoods are quite easy to heal and i dont think it would hurt that much ,cant say from experience though. i think for some people, they can have something to add to sex. at the least, they tell your guy where to put his tongue

 

i've had my clit hood pierced. it didnt hurt that much to have done, it was more like a scratch rather than real pain like my nipple was. i wouldnt worrie too much if you dont like needles, neither do i & i've had lodes of piercings now. its not like a hospital needle & you wont get to see it anyway. at first it was a bit more sensitive but it returned to normal pritty quick unless i changed the jewellery then it was sensitive again.

cleaning it out is easy. its one of the most easiest places to clean out. womens bits are self cleaning anyway & urine is the bodys natural anticeptic. its totally sterile & harbours no jerms at all. you could just use urine to clean it out with. i did buy some steripods tho. i dont know if you can get them in the USA or canada but here you can get them from pharmacies. its what they use in the hospitals here & is just saline solution all ready made up in like a pod, you just twist the lid off & use it.

my girl friend has her hood done, she likes it she screamed when it was done and she said it hurt more than her nip/ears/ cartilage in upper ear/ nose. it healed fast i dont no if your in a relationship but if your guys cairful you can get back to normal things in 2/3 days you just have to make sure you say what is good or hurts. and about the increase stimulation normal day to day life no my girl dosnt if you want it to ya it will.

+1 on bmezine. Membership is $10 for 6 months. So much worth it. I think the key to any body modification is choosing wisely. Make sure the piercer is established and trained and certified. Clean shop with lots of light and I prefer a busy shop. That is just more experience and a better reputation. Personally I love hood piercings. They look sexy and they are damn fun to play with. Healing time is important. You have to give it time to heal or it will migrate or worse yet, tear.
