I can't take this pain! I've had it for 3 or 4 days now and I know it's not an infection, it's just a terrible terrible headache. I can't take anything with aspirin in it due to my blood disease...yet at the same time, I can't do ANYTHING because the pressure is just unbelievable. Any ideas?

Don't consume any dairy. This can make it much worse.

Try drinking peppermint tea. You can buy a box of peppermint tea bags, but I find the dried herb that you can find in bulk at health food stores to be stronger and better for sinus pain.

I feel your pain, I get horrible headaches so often!
One thing I've found is the scent of peppermint or lavender...both are calming, and seem to relieve the pressure. That and drinking A LOT of water.
    Hope you feel better soon!

Get some Dr Bronners peppermint soap and soak a towel in water and the soap. Just relax with the hot water wash cloth over your face. The peppermint scent might really help as others have said.

You can get Bronners from the trader joes on route9 in shrewsbury.

I get them a lot and aspirin or Sudafed won’t do anything for them. The only thing that helps me is the nedi pots humidifier warm steamy shower moisture is good in your sinus. After I hydrate my sinuses I stretch my back and neck and lie down and try to take a nap if I can.
I have started to do some breathing exercises that are supposed to open your sinus and strengthen your breathing system those seen to be helping a little.
You can try to find out if they are from allergies also. Do you get them when you have eaten dairy products? Dairy can make your mucus thick.
Or things like when the air quality is poor?
    Sinus headaches suck!

I second the neti pot. Eucalyptus leaf or oil in hot, steaming water for inhalation is very soothing & clearing as well.
