cat on a hot tin roof. The Glass Menagerie conveys mental illness in the most subtle and poetic way I have ever read.

Had to read Sweet Bird of Youth for English Lit. His imagery is beautiful, and I love the polyphonic density of signs too!

A streetcar named desire it brilliant! I studied it at A-Level and had to compare it to F.Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby.

At the highschool I used to work at we performed a lot of plays. "The Glass Managerie" was the most requested one. But personally I prefer "A Street Car Named Desire".

i love A Streetcar Named Desire. It have seen so many variations and many great actors have played their roles beautifully. Yet, Marlon Brandon plays the best Stan. Sometimes, the other players never quite nail the emotions(passion, anger fear etc)
