It seems quite apparent to most astute followers of current news and events that Hillary Clinton is already the nominee for the Democrat party, and most likely will be the next president. With Ron Paul's ever-increasing popularity, let us assume he becomes the nominee for the Republican party. Given the two choices for president, who would you pick?

    straight up, ron paul.
he's such a lovely old man.
not to mention he wants to fix all of the government programs and institutions, which would be amazing right about now. =]

After two rigged elections, does it really matter at this point? Hello! We are just the American people. We are not the ones in control.

hehehe werd. Personally my favorite is how she wants to give health care reform back to the people! Forget about the fact that HMOs contributed MAD CASH to her campaign....

Oh yeah, and that ad where Bill lists all the things she's done... oh wait, a Clinton advisor debunked almost the whole list...

well I would say my favorite political view of Hilary's is... ummm... could I get back to you later?

    C U next Tuesday!

i haven't heard anything yet that i like about ron paul. a republican jimi carter? why do i doubt this? SERIOUSLY doubt this.

if he really were, i seriously do NOT think he'll get the nomination.

no, to me at this point i looks like it's between either hillary or obama, and gooliani.

but even if it was ron paul, no thanx. hillary or obama are STILL the lesser "evil"; and that IS the choice we have.

now if i could have anyone i WANTED i'd pick gravel or cousin itch.

or whoever the greens are running OTHER then nader. and i've heard they've actually picked someone. a her. and i forget her name at the moment. but she SOUNDS interesting. (names seem to be that last thing i'm ever able to remember about anyone)

    =^^=

Ron Paul isn't going to get the nomination, he is just a democrat sporting an elephant logo. As we saw with Bush 2x it is the Conservative Christian vote that is the deciding factor in the election so it will be a republican president. The democrats got elected because Americans felt let down by Bush but the dems approval rating is 50% lower than Bush's, which is pathetic. I think they reminded America why they hate liberals and you will see that them winning was the worst thing that could have happened to the election in 08. It will either be Romney, Julianni or Thompson since MCCains ratings have dropped and Huckabees has skyrocketed but probably not enough. Ron Paul isn't qualified. Just for saying he will "just bring the troops home" shows he isn't capable of running the worlds most powerful military. He is a liar as well. He put in an article that he treated people even if they couldn't afford it. He was an ER Dr, he had no knowledge of whether someone had insurance or not. He is a lying politician, like the rest.

Ugh. How is Ron Paul a "Democrat sporting an elephant logo"? Democrats generally favor big socialistic government. Ron Paul wants to do away with most of the government, including the Department of Education. Ron Paul is the antithesis of Democrats (and modern-day Republicans, both of which favor big government).

And what did Dr. Paul lie about? You can't even get your facts right (he is an OB-GYN), so why should I believe anything else you say without any proof to back it up?

What?? Hillary and Obama are the lesser of two evils compared to Ron Paul??? You're joking, right? That's why Hillary and Obama are in the pockets of the military-industrial complex and big-business. Ron Paul's contribution money comes from ordinary people. Hillary and Obama are as pro-establishment as they come. They represent the elite owners of this country, not the American people.

I suggest you become a little more informed.

They support her because she's a woman. Just wait, her #'s are beginning to drop already. She won't be elected President.

I just want to say this, 22 years of Bush and Clinton is enough, give someone else a chance.

On that note I believe Ron Paul is most fit for the role of president merely because of his debates. I can't remember which one it was but apparently Giulianie and some other fruit knew the questions beforehand and were snickering about it. But Paul owned them anyway so it doesn't matter.

Oh erm, can you say hella increased govt. revenue to help pay off our debts from taxes on things becoming legal with an end to the "war on drugs."

I like Clinton and regret that she's had to endure both the naive sniping of the Democratic left who don't understand that she's a pragmatist and not a conservative, and the right wing who think she is the embodiment of the communist lesbian witch conspiracy to emasculate NASCAR viewers. But the fact is that no single human being on the face of the earth could rally the disunited and demoralized forces of American conservatism better than Hillary Clinton. I have a hard time seeing her win the general election unless the Republicans' troubles persist for another year. You just can't bank on that, not after 2004. Clinton deserves it, but I'm afraid she'll lose.
