The Pogues make me want to drink.

Maybe it's that scant bit of irish in me, but when I hear that beautiful music, and it may be something about the wasted quality of Shane's voice, I just find myself wanting to reach for a drink.

 

Haha, same here. I think it's Shanes voice (especially live ) in combination with the music :tongue:

Great news for Pogues fans-the band is touring with Shane and Cait! I wanted so bad to see them in Boston,but I just can't afford the trip there right now.I'm really hoping they play a bit closer to me like Meadowbrook,N.H. or Portland,ME ,this year.They are one of my favorite bands.
