I used to use it a lot, but I have had to watch myself because I have a child with Autism who can't understand it. I have to be very specific with him, because he takes everything literally.

 

i like sarcasm, i like black humor.

 

i'm not a fan of how powerfully society is shaped by it. BOTH by those who recognise it AND those who sometimes do not, or do and choose to pretend not to. something hardly anyone thinks about. i mean it's cute and all. but not quite as harmless as if only it could be.

it IS a way of getting things said though, sometimes the only way of doing so.
a lot could be said about analyzing the reasons for that too.

In my opinion, sarcasm can often be hilarious, if used by a brilliant individual. But most of the time, it's just dumb, obnoxious bullshit that isn't remotely funny.

I generally lose a lot of friends due to my sarcasm. I can't help it...it's like spilling a glass of milk...you don't realize what happened until it already happened. You knew you could have controlled it, but didn't.

Yeah, I like sarcasm... I mean, it's sooooooo intelligent. No, really! I mean it! I'm being honest with you, because I "respect you as a person" and "care about what you think". Sorry if you don't think I'm being HONEST about things!

 

well, are we talking about sarcasm to make someone laugh or sarcasm to hurt someone's feelings? because i'm pretty good at sarcasm to get someone laugh without hurting anyone's feelings.

otherwise it's called "just being a bitch." i'm good at that, too.

 

Irony and sarcasm keeps me alive, it's too bad that people take me too seriouly sometimes (coz i got a serious face )
