Hehe i found $50 while walkin down the street today, it was right in the middle of the sidewalk, cant believe the wind didnt blow it away
^Woow thats a lot ^ haha.. well, i'm lazy to calculate it to dollars, but at the time (we now have the euro) it was 400,- fl (guilder) and thats alot of money (although not as much as the 500 euro J.I. found) i had to share it with 2 other friends cuz we actually found it together
...and that person didnt even give me 10 euros or whatever as a reward. I was actually nice enough to make the effort and find the person.
No, I couldnt do that. 500 euros is a lot of money. and the money was in a wallet with a name. if it hadnt been in a wallet....I dont know.
once at work i found a purse with 260 bucks in it and some gift cards. the person came back looking for it after and i had to lie to her, but hey, it's 260 bucks, right?
what sucks more than losing money is losing things like ID, SS card, credit cards . . . things that are bitches to replace. if you must keep the cash from, at least give them those back
Aparently when I was about three or four mum was taking money out of an ATM and I kept saying "Shoe! Shoe!" to her so she bent down to tie it thinking thats what I wanted and I was standing on a good $500 or so.
I found a twenty on the sidewalk on my way to school a couple weeks ago. It made getting up at 7am a little better.
$250 and i gave it away to some man when I was kid I asked the man is this your money becuase he was close to it and he obviously said yes! lol
Well you can look at the moral issue of keeping versus giving back found money in two ways: number one: how would you want to be treated if you were the one who lost the money? number two: perhaps you are in dire need as well I have found in my personal exeperience, giving back, gives back to you too
