I have adrenal fatigue. However, my naturopath's office has moved just out of the range I'm willing to drive. Does anyone else suffer from this? What do you do? I've adjusted my diet, try to get sufficient sleep, vitamins, and my doc gave me something called Adreno Forte. I also take ginseng and I use EmergenC as needed. But I still feel drowsy in the mornings and I'm kinda wiped in the afternoon. I started this homeopathic treatment called Silicea... don't know how it's going to work yet.

Any suggestions? I'm trying to do this without visiting a doc as funds are low and all the naturopaths are a little far away from me. Thanks!

try to make your sleep as regular as possible. you want to aim for a good breakfast at 10am when your cortisol levels are naturally high. and aim for lunch at 12. try and eat raw unproccesed foods, veggies, grains nuts seeds mostly, some meat, eggs and a little bit of fruit. hypoadrenics are usually hypoglycemic so you want to try to keep your blood sugar stable. also adrenal fatigue makes you sweat out your sodium which upsets your potassium/sodium balance so you should add some sea salt to your diet, a teaspoon a day would probably be good.
licorice root and ashwaganda are really good herbs for adrenal fatigue.
meditation has helped me a lot.
the main thing is no junk food, if you eat junk food you wont get better period, i didnt notice the problems untill after i quit, now when i drink a soda i get all wired for 40 minutes then i crash hard cause of the drop in blood sugar, junk food is like crack for hypoadrenics.
and also stay hydrated, ive made it a habit to always have a glass of water at hand.

it pisses me off how most conventional doctors dont even recognize this as a syndrome unless you have addisons disease. for all four of my high school years a fell a sleep 2-4 times a day and i always had the worst sleep tossing and turning, sweating and id sleep with no blankets then id be freezing and still sweating. out of all my several doctor visits the only suggestions i got was anti-depressants and adderal(for adult add), which both would have only worstened it.
i finally just did some research and found out what it was and fixed up my life style and im finally feeling happy to be alive again.
i hate big pharma, depression has always been a symptom and all the sudden big pharma comes along, marks it a syndrome, makes another magic pill and walaa, tons and tons of depentant chronically sick patients to return and fill their prescribtions so big pharma can once again cash in on our health.

i wouldnt be surprised if half of people being treated for depression were just undiagnosed hypoadrenic, hypothyroid, diabetics, (diseases that actually exist and have a biological cause)
