My brother is in a dub reggae band, the drastics, check em out, www.thedrastics.com or myspace.com/drasticdub they just dropped a 2 disc album, one instrumental one vocals with singers from RnB, to soul, to dancehall, and though it may seem biased, i personally think their new album is the greatest in its genre.

also lee 'scratch' perry and king tubby are considered the pioneers of dub reggae, lee perrys studio band was the upsetters which has a lot of dub and he did some dub work with bob marley on a few tracks, also augustus pablo is pretty sick dub.

since "the legend" lee scratch has already been mentioned, i'm moving on to the stuff of today.....

    i'm not an expert, either
but i also like the style and i believe the uk scene to be quite alive

of the more recently produced stuff, i recommend:
    dub ghecko
    iration steppas!!
    twilight circus
king shiloh sound system (from amsterdam)
    bush chemists

I don't know if they have been mentioned but Bedouin Soundclash are alright. The leads voice just sounds good when stoned...so ya know.

    That is not dub music.

The best dub would be King Tubbys
Get anything from him and it is good.
