The guitar is built better and makes the GH guitar look even more like a toy. The drumset is actually really good, and the gameplay offers a lot more depth, customization, and interactivity than GH. Also it has a much better setlist, and a better list of downloadable tracks.
Oooooo! So, you've acutally played it? It's apparently delayed up here but our housemate had it and all the gear on order. I'm hoping it arrives by the time our out-of-province visit is over. I know the guy buying it is gearing up for the drum position but I'll be damned if I don't get to Keith Moon my little heart out to Who's Next.
Yeah, Dervish, I got it. It's really well done. The guitar is different but I think it's better. The drums are awesome. A LOT of fun.
If you were going to get GH3, would you rather have it for the XBox360 or the Wii? Which is better and why? I have to decide which one to get my grandson. GH3 is the top of his list.
Get it for 360, because with that console there is downloadable content, plus he can go buy just the game of GH2 used somewhere for cheap and play that with the GH3 guitar; whereas the Wii only has GH3 and the downloadable content isn't there.
I tried it for Wii and hated it, but maybe I just didn't like the platform. I intend to buy it for PS2, but I'm disappointed. The sync was different from the previous games so you pretty much have to start from scratch with it. Made the experts look and feel like they can't play for shit. Although maybe I should try the PS2 before I judge. It does seem like the end of an era though.
the 360 is better it has better graphics downloadabel content the wii has crappy graphics and no downloads so i think ur better of with the 360 the songs in gh3 are kool but they really messed up on not putting avenged sevenfold
ugh i hate xbox. i bought one and it broke after a year and microsoft refused to fix it. so i bought a ps3 and havent had any problems with it...yet
