Hey that work section idea sounds awesome! And could you let me know a lil more about this bio farm work?

Been looking for months now to work on something similar, maybe an off-the-grid community or such, but proving difficult.

I'm definately with you, most people on this forum jus like to talk with little proof of action, its a pity really, coz before joining I never realized there were so many like-minded young people out there. But then they also seem to be blinded by getting stoned or conspiracies.

So yeah, personally I'm searching for my eco-friendly path in this world but proving to not be as simple as that sounds

Well it's a cool place to be, nothing's really different from other farms, exept for the bio products. I guess it's KIND of a community, but it's a job first. Some people can live there, we have a house to hold 2 famillies, and kind of a big building with 4 rooms, 1 kitchen, 1 toilet, and a huge free space for anything. We sell our bio products at a small building in front of the road. There's 3 free big dogs on the field with us. We have the main building where we cook with a french cook. We sell and eat what we bake. The food is really good and we try to use most of our stuff. We have a farm, some chickens, some rabbits, sometimes a goat or different farm animals. We grow mostly vegetables and fine herbs, a huge variety, good stuff. The place is really nice, but most of us don't live there. We do all our stuff by ourselves, we never pay people to do what we can do with our own hands. We have some vehicules for different purposes, I love the gator (somekind of off-road 6 wheels).

It may sounds really poetic but it's not totally like what it seems, sometimes it's really hard, when it rains or snows hard we still work. Right now it's cold as fuck outside over here... it's snowing, and we shovel mud to set a new plumbing. The job is freakin' hard and it's a lot of times to invest, I work most of the time around 60 hours a week. Not everyone do this but it's my choice, the job has to be done.

All in all it's cool, but you have to be into it to know what it's feel like, you don't feel more pure and to tell you the truth, you are mostly tired, good news is you sleep at night. It's a healthy lifestyle that is not for everyone.

hey sorry been off-line for a while! Thanx for the up date on how your farm works. Damn it really does sound like the good life, nothing wrong with hard work- keeps us from wasting our energy and thoughts on things that are pointless!

lately i find myself on the pointless path, an really feeling like a hypocrite :)

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do... As for me, I'm not actually at the farm. I saved up enought hours to get a class to be a roofer so I'll be making decent money to move in the mountains and build a log cabin and live off the earth. Gotta say kinda really miss the farm life but I need money to pay the bills, so I could later be on my own land!

Do what you have to do sister, but never forget what are your goals.
