By now you've no doubt heard the name. What are your thoughts on the incident? Justified use of force? Police brutality? FUCKING MANSLAUGHTER?!?
Im guessing your talking about that polish man... He didnt speak english, was held up in security for hours on end, couldnt find his mother... The authorities try to scare us of terror, and their allowed to terrorise us. It makes me sick really. I would call it murder. The man did not present any real threat that the 100 security guards could not handle unarmed. Oh i dont need to use my gun, but i can use my taser, which can also be lethal. I think the brits have it right with those beating sticks, old school but realistic.
I don't know about beating people with sticks but I am with you on the rest. I just can't imagine what would drive anyone to think that a taser, which is a second last option to a gun, sufficed as a way to deal with this dude ... no matter how angry he seemed. How can it be that there was not a single polish speaking person brought in to find out what was bothering the poor guy. Then again, if we wonder that, we must wonder why the poor guy didn't have a piece of paper with "Hello, my name is Bob, I do not speak english." written on it. I'd sure as hell have one written in Russian if I was going to russia!
Yeah true that ^ I only meant sticks because they kind of symbolize there use, you just plane out avoid getting hit by one. Tasers though, people underestimate them, you see on movies and shit people tasing for fun. Its also fucked how tasers are for public use in USA.
Not only do I find it disturbing, but scary as well. And despite how much this story shocked me, the fact that the news (unnecessarily, I think) played the whole video of it happening over tv was not only eerie, but I think disrespectful to the deceased and scary.
