alright cool, i just wasnt sure cause not many guys get lower back tattoos but then the name don when spelled that way is generally a male name so i was just curious.

It's a nice design, but isn't the generally accepted meaning of the upside down rainbowed triangle a gay pride type of thing? And if you have a wife...well, I'm assuming you're not gay. Maybe there are other meanings to it and I'm just being naive, but that's my take on it. Make sure you want it before you put it on yourself for life.

i dunno man,, i hope ya are gay,,or ya reconsider... ;)

I would not be surprise if no GOOD tattoo artists wouldn't want to tattoo this design like it is right now. It's really ugly... I'm not trying to be rude, just being honest... Don't use your body as sketch book man.

na I realize its a "rough draft" but I figure a good tat artist can get the gist of it and sharpen it up.

then how about some constructive feedback?

Do you just not like the triple goddess symbolism or ? the colors represent the elements.

That is about as basic as it gets IMHO..

ya deleted the pic of it?

what i remember of it,,, it was too spaced out over too large an area with too little detail even if you were planning on adding ivy around it or thru it or whatever it was you were planning on doing... there is just too much empty space in it overall... the design itself is very basic and rather boring just geometric shapes with colors in them which again leads to the overall boring effect it has... to me it looks more like 3 or 4 seperate tats thrown into one big canvas area and nothing to tie them together in any way
this all sounds harsh n rude i am sure,,,and it is your body and your tattoo so you are entitled to have whatever artwork you deem fit but you did ask for opinions on it and i aint into sugar coating things....
perhaps you could use a bit of imagination with the shapes and then have the colors somehow swirled into those shapes but also have the geometrics you have decided upon with an outline of some sort, this could be sorta like a picture within a picture type deal but the outline would almost give it a framework to work in so that one can tell it is all one piece of work.... if i could draw for shit i would sketch it out to give a better idea of what i mean but i cant:)

It is constructive. Maybe you don't like my answers... You may prefer to have someone lie to you and say this shit is beautiful when it isn't so you go to your shitty tattoo artist with your shitty design and get that shit sling in your flesh forever, but it's just not my style [IMG]. I can't even give you clues to make it looks better, I would start something with the idea, but not the design... it's really horrible man. You should thank me if I just gave you a doubt about getting it inked, because trust me, you don't want this on your skin... THAT'S my opinion, if you don't give a shit, why are you using a forum, sending your design and a post, expecting everyone to tell you it's the ultimate tattoo... forget it man...
