are thses a good type? i never tried em before but my dealer said his were called like blue good shrooms for 30 an 8th.. is this a good deal?
blueing in my experance means the shrooms weren't dried right away poperly. Imo really blue shrooms are lower grade. Slight blueing is unavoidable, but dark blueing is from poor care. J.C
well the blue happens 2 different ways... one the picking of the shroooms which leads to "bruiseing" that has nothing to do with the potency..however..... two when drying of the shrooms naturally the Psylocybin oxidises causing the blue... now if you know your shit Psylocybin is more hallusonegitic then Psylocin so heavy blueing on the shroom can show that it wouldent be as potent as it should...... like did you ever trip one time and you had no visuals yet laughed your ass off that means the Psylocybin level was low and that can reflect on the strain or the drying... then theres times where you have strong visuals and just fry out well that would mean the Psylocybin level was high but that also reflects on the strain and drying... many factor involved like some oxidised strains are more potent then a un oxidised strain but let no one fool you the best shrooms are the ones still wet (un dried) there is no oxidation and double the Psylocybin / Psylocin content then a dried shroom
theres a strain called blue psilocybe that are the best in the world. But the ones you're talking about are probably just stained.... blue psilocybes are super rare.
Psilocybin is turned into psilocyin in the body. Psicocyin is what makes you trip. Blueing is just oxidation, it has nothing to do with potancy.
The bluing is psilocybin oxidizing into psilocin. This is not a good thing. Psilocybin is broken down in the body into psilocin. The problem is that psilocin doesn't just pass through untouched. It gets partially broken down as well. That said, you're not gonna notice a difference in bruised and unbruised mushrooms. I've done tests myself. And wet shrooms aren't twice as potent as dried, especially if they were dried without heat. Everything I've ever grown has been about a 10:1 wet:dry ratio, which only accounts for water loss. 30 grams wet was about the same as 3 grams dry. Heat will, however, break down some of the alkaloids into inactive compounds.
i dont know anything about blue bruising and such but 30 for an eith is a very good price. i can get the same price but only when i buy a quarter pound!
yea, ive had a run in with the blue ones when I used to sell, called them albino's. Those things put you in your chair and kept you there, I used to pay $12 an eigth when I bought a half-pound- those were the days.
