woke up my dorm, so they could see the snow

It snowed for about 10 minutes yesterday, but then turned to rain by the time my roomie went out to check outside. Well today about 2am, I realized it was snowing again all over the trees & ground.
So I got 4 other people to go outside for a snowball fight.

 

Hey, last Winter I was in FL and didn't have any snow and the Winter before that 2005/2006 I was in NH & TN...but wasn't in the mood to really enjoy it. But today I'm having a blast. Later this morning my roomie & I will go get pics of the sunrise coming up over the canyon and pics of the snow.

 

We’re expecting around 4-8 inches of snow starting tomorrow night into monday


I’m still amazed how overnight the countryside is suddenly transformed from a brown dull uninteresting landscape of lifeless trees, to a majestic snow covered wonderland.
