Snow snow snow

picked up a quarter and blazed in the snow tonight at a school's playground, was standing sliding down the metal slides that were like sheets of ice lol

 

driving is pretty easy in the winter... if you've learned anything in your years of driving in minnesota.. ya dont leave 1st or 2nd gear too often in the winter unless you are on the highway... we have an alternate side parking thing in our town and you think they would use that to push all the snow to the empty side? fuck no.. this mornin had snow half way up my POS tercel... so i shoveled out my driver door and drove that fucker like i stole it.. rocked the shit out of it til finally i broke through the snow mound and onto the street

 

I wish it was snowing here! Yesterday it was 80 and mid-70s today. The heat is driving me crazy!

 

If i look out the window i see all the trees being blown about like crazy and basically the clouds pouring bucket after bucket of water down on us. No nice seasonal weather here, just fucking rain and wind.
It might snow in january...but i doubt it

I want snow

 

This is lookin out my front door in upstate NY. The storm is just starting up. If we dont mix to sleet were looking at a sizable storm if it mixes were looking at an ugly commute into work tomorrow. I'll keep posted with pics as the storm continues. But Im going to take the dog for a walk in the woods and get mad baked now.

dude be happy, snow is uplifting and happy, freezing wind and filthy rain is depressing and buzzkill.

 

thats like about what it looks like here we got so much snow last night. then right after we got a ton of snow it warmed up and started freezing rain. now theres like a coat of ice on top of all the deep fluffy snow. weather around here sucks it changes so fast i hate it.

 

we've been getting pretty good snowfalls recently but im glad it just started now so the winter doesnt last too long
ive already gotten in a small accident on one of the first days it snowed
the residential streets here are horrible because its just fresh snow on top of ice
so you have to go ridiculously slow around corners
but i dont mind the cold if your wearing enough layers and the snow can be fun
i just hate how dark it is in the morning waking up for work

 

The first time it snowed here in Ottawa, was 10 days ago, there is lots and lots of snow and so VERY cold.

 

its a big freezing rain mess outside here right now.

 

I havent lived in a decent snowfall in 10 years or have seen a lot of snow in the area I live. The desert sucks!

 

All rain and snow here. Gotta love the slush and the never ending salt on the roads.

Where abouts in the NE are you? Im in NY kinda near albany and we got a half inch of ice on top of the inch of snow we had and now its just pretty messy out there. About a half hour north of us got all snow though.
