You live in England don't you? That might explain the differences. I love bright spaces too, but my house isn't really that bright, and I guess all of furniture isn't either. Plus I hate my black rug lol. My bedroom is nice and bright though with beautiful white curtains, and quilts and stuff. And you should see my daughter's room. It's really coloful and bright.

I like how organized your room is.. That's good that you keep things neat.

 

And why do you care so much about what color you think they are??
I'm telling you that their gray cause they are my couches.. They were my parent's and I needed new furniture so they were given to me.. They are gray with like these wavy "lines" in them or something..

And I do have to admit the curtains do look ugly in the pics. I took them in the dark and the flash went off. And the paneling that you thought you saw was a hutch that you can only see half of.

 

yea thats one thing. my previous room was covered with clutter, the room would get really dirty and it would be a huge chore cleaning so much. so now when its plain, just abit of dusting, vacuming and cleaning the floor and desk/table is all u need. 1h once a week and good as new.

 

the stoner room thread that someone linked to earlier in this thread inspired me to get off my ass and clean and redesign my boring dirty room. gonna take out these ugly shelves that I have kicking around and draw a trippy mural on the wall that they're taking up, and buy some posters to put up...so today I started cleaning my room so I can redesign it and as I was cleaning I found a nice size bud. just ran out of herb too . so yeah, thanks hipforums

you british people and your extremely organised and properly lit rooms.

 

i was just looking at your apartment and i noticed that your washer and dryer a conciderably distance apart. i was just wondering if you ever get anoyed by having to move the wet clothes from the washer to your dryer everytime you do laundry. either way its better then not have a washer and dryer in your apartment i always hated when we had to go to the laundermat.

LoL yes sometimes it's annoying, especially when I'm suffering from lower back pain, and I have to take numerous trips to the dryer, but they are in the same room just like opposite sides. I suppose I could just put the wet clothes in the basket and bring them all over to the dryer that way, but I never do. I always end up bring armloads one at a time. Plus I do at least 1 load a day!

I saw your room on the other post. Very cramped!
