i'm apparently 58% schizoid, everything else was below 50%

Schizoid Personality Disorder - individual generally detached from social relationships, and shows a narrow range of emotional expression in various social settings.

i'd say that describes me pretty well.

 

I've been diagnosed PTSD.

What makes a person's personality a "disorder"? When they no longer are useful to the producer-consumer system of economics?

 

Wow, I have heaps of disorders......suddenly I feel oh so very fucked up!

 

Yeah, or so it fits into framework to satisfy insurance companies and their bottom line.

Actual disorders have more to do with effects on functioning, I wouldnt take this thing too serious. It takes a lot more than a questionnaire like that to properly diagnose someone as schizoid, and even then its not definitive.

These tests are generally crap. People with personality disorders often subconsciously manipulate test answers one way or another. PD's are deep-seeded problems with thought patterns, so taking a test to detect it is usually useless. A trained professional can pick up on these patterns.

 

No-no!!! Don't say that! People want EASY ANSWERS! Surely a ten minute online test can diagnose a world of problems! Say it isn't so!!!11one11!!

people can't diagnose themselves.. which is what the test is, in effect making you do.

How the person sees themself greatly effects how they answer the questions.. meaning that the answers they give may not be true to life and should be answered by someone observing the person in question.
