I'm half way through it, it's rather interesting... is anyone else reading it? If not, it's a fascinating book... written by a Canadian Anglican (I think anglican) minister...

Nope, I have never heard of it. What is it about. What does it teach?

I hate to make cynical posts but honestly Im just about sick and tired of this whole faddy 'Pagan/Gnostic' Christ crap.

Heh.. I was just reading an article about the tour guides in Italy being 'Driven mad' by annoying tourists trying to 'decode' the Davinci paintings into some Gnostic revelation about Christ.

Anyway.. The word 'Pagan' is pretty much meaningless in itself.
Im sure this book has a whole lot of 'evidence' Jesus was a Pagan or some wacky crap.
The Pagan Romans sure didnt seem impressed with Him anyway.
