If I had my way, i'd get all the extremists of the world and put them on their own private island, see who's god is "superior"...it would be like a football game, and you would be wearing the jesus jersey, getting down and dirty with all the other holier than thou types....ending the world from your own private island, and selfish dreams of your own salvation.

no naff off is a version you might find on tv in the day time or you could use in front of your parents, a kinda scaled down fuck off.

naff off isn't offensive but everyone knows you really mean fuck off.

Sort of a petty way to get around the promise, like Bill Clinton's rationale for claiming he never had sex with Ms. Lewinsky.

his life, his words, his mission are left for each of our interpretations. if you believe in christ and you know you will be standing in front of him and your heavenly parents, do you really want to have to account for being knowledgable about his words but on missing out on his message? his mission was one of love and not judging.
this thread saddens me. this here has been a fantastic demonstration of why we have wars, of where there is so much anger and isolation in the world. love don't hate.
i know you all are trying to get your points through the other's thick skulls but its not going to happen with attacks and defenses. again, something jesus taught against. peace in your heart and with your beliefs, it would allow acceptance
this may sound like a judgement on my part but it is no such thing. its just a sad sad observation.
the truth is none of us have all the answers. and if your mission was that of christ's or buddha's would you want people to fight over you. nope, you would shake your head very solemnly and know that your point was not heard. since it comes from peoples lips but it isn't expelled in their actions. it would hurt you to watch people hurt themselves all because of pride.
its not about fighting for what you believe in.....its about being what you believe in. embrace the god each of you know and feel that peace

Well God told the truth, but now we want to tell God how He should do things. God told men they should not have sex with one another and that seems like such a minor point to many. Now, how many million people in the world have died of Aids? Or am I just splitting hairs?
