Ok well i have had my bong for about a week now and don't know what to name it. My friends and I call it "Lamp" now, since that is the back up excuse you should always use when someone asks you "What is that?" (Yes, I know it would never work. But you should always bring this up in a conversation while under the influence of weed. i really think that the only proper way to name a new piece is to just let it happen as a wise man once said: "do not seek the name; the name will find you." -me have a session with some friends, get really baked, and i promise something will come to you. weed=creativity good luck
Templeton's right. Don't even try. I mean you can try to name it if you want, it will probably be fun. But the best way will be to just chill, not worry about it. Someone will say something awesome and/or hilarious, and you'll think, "Hey, that'd be a great name for my bong." I don't have a bong or pipe yet, but when I get one I already have a name I came up with. My smoking partner shall be named, Sherlock Jenkins.
Yeah, what Templeton said... Get a few of your best friends together, get baked, and go on some kind of adventure. One of my pipes was named after my friend and I ended up at the cemetery all baked and saw a headstone with "ALEXANDER" in big pretty lettering, and from then on, the pipe was Alex. One was named Maddy after my husband and I got super baked, put on a CD, Matisyahu came on, and my husband went "Maddy. It looks like a girl." Names really do just kinda come at random times.
A good rule is to not name it until after you smoke out of it. The name will come to you while you use it and then you MUST write it down(so you wont forget). I just bought my first glass piece and I won't name it until I smoke out of it the first time.
It does just come to you. We were really high and a friend of mine replaced a picture of her bong i was holding with a ukelele and it gained the name "the ukelele."
My friend bought a bong with the same exact structure but a completely different design. We named it "vader" and it fucking rips like none other. It's currently out of commission though
I named my Huka "Tha Choker" because if ya load the bowl and clear it, your guaranteed to choke. My glass pipe's name is Cynthia... idk why it just suits her.
i am not to sure as to a name for it but that is a nice looking pipe man make sure you make your first time using it memorable or to the extent you cant remember haha

i don't understand naming smoking devices myself. i have "the bong," "the bowl," "the chillum," and "the one-hitter," and those names suit them just fine
