Why i dont believe in JesusDiedforU

I said that God intended for his followers to be together. Not to separate themselves into different groups the way religion does. There are Baptist, Catholics, Lutherans, Mormons, Protestants, etc. None of them can agree, so they form their different groups with their own interpretation of what God says. That is not what Christ intended. The point was for all of his followers to be one body.

Your right, God is in everything. However, there is a huge difference between knowing who he is, and having a relationship with him.

The Bible was written by men under the influence of the Holy Ghost. They didn't just write these things down for the fun of it. Some man didn't just set out to write a book. The men and women who are authors of the Bible were prophets and apostles, some before God came down in the flesh as Jesus Christ, and some were Jesus's own chosen followers. Through the Holy Ghost they were given the message to write down an account of these events that had taken place, and those that have yet to happen.

That is why I stress the importance of the in filling of the holy ghost. The presence of God inside of you is a counselor, a teacher, and a guide. It will determine between false prophets and those who true believers.

The Bible or "Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth", as it is refered to, is the instruction mannual that God has given us. But without the holy ghost, one doesn't really know the meaning of the words. It wasn't meant for everyone to interpret in their own sense. The spirit of God is what tells you exactly what the meaning is.

That is why I detest mainstream religion. Because they want to wrap up everything in a nice, pretty bow.

I think we have seperate Gods. I accept mine for who he is, and he accepts me. I have a great relationship with this spirit, thank you very much. I once again don't need a book to tell me what it's saying, and I dont need a book to understand "his word". If God really wrote that book in a sense, we wouldnt need to go through the book and then ask him what it means. He tells me what he needs to.

The bible is a middle man basically. It was written by him so you can read it and then ask him questions about it so you can understand his word. That makes no sense, but yet this is what you people say.

I'm sorry if my way is not good enough for you. It's good enough for me and the spirit though, and that means a lot more to me than you're ignorant and selfish views.

Aw come on Friend. A little religious arugment never killed anyone. I am enjoying myself really. These religious folk crack me up. It's like playing with monkeys. You know they're smart, but they spend most of the time flinging poo at bystanders.

Changing them how? For years I've been speaking about the foolishness of separate religions when they all claim to know one God.

Not exactly.... look at all the prophecy in revelation. Not all of God's children are blessed with the gift of prophecy. That's why it's in the Bible. However, without God's spirit, one wouldn't understand the meaning. Even the Bible itself says that the elect will be decieved during the end times. That is why you have to have a relationship with Christ and let his spirit work inside of you.

This isn't my way, this is GOD'S way. I'm not the one that you will have to face on the day of judgement, he is.

 

*pats on shoulder* it'll be ok. we still love you. i forgot to mention the religious folk are also lacking in the humor department, unlike monkeys. compare and contrast the moment. religion = non humor. monkeys = non relgion and a lot of humor. plus the word wild monkey sex, so you know they at least have fun. ive never heard of wild religious folk sex.

his life, his words, his mission are left for each of our interpretations. if you believe in christ and you know you will be standing in front of him and your heavenly parents, do you really want to have to account for being knowledgable about his words but on missing out on his message? his mission was one of love and not judging.
this thread saddens me. this here has been a fantastic demonstration of why we have wars, of where there is so much anger and isolation in the world. love don't hate.
i know you all are trying to get your points through the other's thick skulls but its not going to happen with attacks and defenses. again, something jesus taught against. peace in your heart and with your beliefs, it would allow acceptance
this may sound like a judgement on my part but it is no such thing. its just a sad sad observation.
the truth is none of us have all the answers. and if your mission was that of christ's or buddha's would you want people to fight over you. nope, you would shake your head very solemnly and know that your point was not heard. since it comes from peoples lips but it isn't expelled in their actions. it would hurt you to watch people hurt themselves all because of pride.
its not about fighting for what you believe in.....its about being what you believe in. embrace the god each of you know and feel that peace

Man some people just don't understand the concept of Scripture and the meaning.

 

If you ever encountered a demon you would think other wise. I have had encounters with such, and there is an evil than you can't even imagine. They work against God's natural law to pevert mens hearts and minds. They hate Christ and all mankind. There only pleasure is to work to seperate man from God, dragging their souls to suffer eternal damnation. The demons of scripture are real, for I have met them. Their greatest fear is Christ and hell.
