SO I have heard of people being able to control what they dream or know that they are dreaming. I did not believe it but last night I was actually able to control my dream and it was amazing. It started out with me going into a blurry light. Eventually it adjusted to a giant pool. (I thought it was just a public pool). So I thought SWEET a huge pool! Then people came into my view, so many people in the water. I started walking into the water and two women looked at me in a confusing manner. The first woman says to the other, "Who is she?! What is she doing here?" I was confused and asked, "is this not a public pool?" The other one smirked and said, "Who are you?" "Why are you here? You should not be here!" It was very strange, as though I was intruding their dream and they also knew how to control their dreams. STRANGE and awakening at the same time. SO I started backing out of the pool, confused and scared because they started walking towards me as though they were going to kill me or something. I closed my eyes in my dream and started thinking of the sky, because I wanted to fly and knew I was controlling my dream. My vision cleared and I was coming out of the water. The women and other people were gone and a hand was still above me. The my boyfriend woke me up. SO STRANGE. Has anyone else known they were dreaming and been able to control it? This was an amazing experience.
im a strong belive of control dreams..i havent been able to dream in a while.but if im stressed out or in a stupper mode ill dream alot. I have this thing about me where im able to test situations in my dreams. usually the simulation becomes reality cause what ever i dreamed comes true and it seems true.also if i have a dream i can wake up think about it and we restart the dream that or continue it.I have a very expansive mind with a hell of lot a imaganiation.Which leads for trouble when dreamin.lol.but verynice though work at what your talking about it paysoff to dream reality.
Its called a Lucid dream. I love them. I have them from time to time but you can buy these natural herbal pills that u take every night u go to bed and the pills make u have lucid dreams. Its called Dream Boost. My roommate got them and it worked for him but he stopped taking them.
mine are about the same mix as real life in the sense that there's an environment there that i don't control other then i can sometimes influence some parts or aspects of it. but as for my own self in them, i can usually do anything i can do awake, and of course several other things besides. one thing is that its often easier to teleport then to walk. i don't mean about being more or less work. nothing usually seems to take any energy at all. it's just that it's often nearly impossible to avoid taking the shortcut of teleporting, unless riding on or in something interesting is part of it. but i pretty much usually get to choose where i go, and how often i wish to run into/communicate with, other awairnessess. very often there are bussess or trains to ride. more often trains, and often of kinds like you see in my pictures that i make. there isn't anything that isn't ever, but a lot of things that are almost never, like cars that run on paved roads. half the time there isn't anything like money. and when there is, it isn't like metal coins or paper bills, but more like odd shaped coin flat but odd outline, bits of translucent colored plexi/plastic (that work in the vending machines just fine there too). mostly it's the culture that's way different. no one acts in the aggressive way so many people do when we're awaike. people just don't do things that they would have to not trust each other for, if you can imagine that. the other thing of course is that there just usually isn't that many arround, and the few that are almost never look individually like anyone from where i live when awake. =^^= .../\...
My sister can lucid dream really fucking well. I've tried, but never quite accomplished it. I wish I could. Thanks for the tip, Tommy. I'll look for that Dream Boost stuff next time I'm at the health food store.
Yea what works really well for me is when you get a regular sleep, either night time or daytime, make sure to get rested just enough not too much or too little. Wake up for like 1,2 or 3 hours and then attempt to fall asleep whilst keeping your mind somewhat conscious once you feel your body vibrating as if beggining a lucid state. I have numerous times just fallen out of my body in my OBE, 1 night about 1-2 weeks ago i dropped out of my body 3-4 times in one night. Every night just think about lucid dreaming to make it possible because dream reality possiblities are fucking endless. edit: i'm rly tired right now so sorry for not being as descriptive haven't gotten any sleep @ all, i'll explain how to or experiences furthermore if wanted.:spliff:
i wouldnt exactly call that lucid dreaming as you didnt seem to have total control over your dream, but yeah i have had them. quite a few times actually, and they're the best dreams i have ever had.
Was this directed at me? I ave many a times been in full, total control so yes I have gained compleet lucidityseldomly but often enough. Let's see if i can;t noight I will get bakc at you tomorrow if i succeed,
Dreams are fascinating, lucid or not... The closest I've managed to get so far to a fully lucid dream, where I'm totally in control was this one time: I was staying at my Dad's place for a few nights, and one of those nights I dreamt I was in my own home, sat right where I am now in front of my computer. I have a mixer on my desk next to my monitor, and for some reason in this dream I lifted it, and underneath found a bag of weed lol. At the time I was totally skint so couldn't have afforded any weed, and for some reason this, and the fact that I realised I was at my Dad's place, triggered the lucidity. I realised I was dreaming and for a brief moment it was exactly as if I was really here. But I got all excited that I was lucid dreaming and woke up soon after. As I woke it was like the dream reality kind of dissolved in front of me. But it was so life-like and realistic for that brief moment of lucidity, no different to if I was actually there. I've gotten near this stage a few times but have yet to achieve full lucidity. But I understand that lucid dreaming is something that can be cultivated through the use of dream journals and getting into the habit of doing reality checks. Having just watched the film Waking Life I've decided to commit to doing this in the hope of exploring the dream world more. My dreams seem to vary between fairly 'mundane', more realistic dreams to vivid fantastical, apocalyptic sometimes things. Like once I dreamt I invented an entirely new psychedelic drug, and actually experienced the effects in the dream. The effects were massively different to any actual psychedelic I'm aware of or have experienced... I get the impression that it is easier to become lucid during the more 'normal', realistic dreams... It just fascinates me the range of experiences that seem to be possible in dreams.
HAHAH omg my bad srsly. When you say apocalyptic, I know exactly what you mean except this was a dream influenced by the herb Calea Zacatechich which has been found to increase the superficial stages of sleep and the number of spontaneous awakenings meaning that lucidity is much easier facilitated after inducing this herb. The way I comsumed it was by toking on some calea filled joints, but the dreaming was an "End of the world" type dream filled with electric giants storming the oceans and with me in a hot air balloon (at night) dive bombing into an organized beach volley ball game with my dad spectating. I really wanna start falling asleep after taking Calea Zacatechich for if your dreams are not lucid they are fucking rediculously incredible. My most recent lucid dream was somewhat mundane but involved me falling out of my body as I usually do, literally i go to sleep with intentions of lucid dreaming then fall right next to my sleeping body and it's time to explore... but my brother interupted my lucid dream and started pummeling me with soccer balls @ my old, old house and i was like "WTF is he doing" and i slapped each kick down very easily no skill involved, and started just examining the pseudo-grass and it had so many details but it was just like tripping b/c the grass was not solid but it had very lucid detail and was kinda wandering.... but sorry for this rant it ends now.

Interesting... I bought some Calea Zacetechichi a few years ago, but never noticed any effects. Having said that I was a heavy weed smoker at the time and very rarely had/remembered dreams anyway. Maybe I should give it another go now I'm enjoying that other herb in moderation
i don't thing being TOTALLY in control is the point. i mean if you were totally controlling EVERYTHING in them, you'd essentially HAVE to be your own 'god' and create the entire universe you were dreaming in and everything in it. of course some people think we do all of that anyway. i'm not so sure that we do. the rocks and trees and houses that are already there before i start adding and building seem pretty solid to me. even the feel and the weight and the heft of things. and all the other little creatures and machines and fiddly bits. of course i do have a kind of imagination that sees things in those kinds of details too. but i think a universe has many 'creators' in the sense of all of us to some degree contributing to it, at least the one in my dreams seems to be that way. =^^= .../\...
