    Hello Old Hippies!

I would love to one day open up my own head shop. I live in Michigan. What do you think the future looks like for business of Head Shops? Are they being shut down or is there still a good business in them? Does anyone know anything about Head Shops in Michigan? What would a good city here be to have a Head Shop? Any information would be awsome!

    Thanks so much! Peace,
    Jacqui

ok, Im no adult, and I dont live in Michigan, but Im going to tell you what I would look for in a head shop. All the essential smoking devices, music tee's, maybe cd's, definately posters, incensce, hemp jewelry, and I think you get the idea. Just be sur to put it in a fairly big city and spread flyers EVERYWHERE. Every inch of the city. I cannot stress how important the flyers are. I was hunting for store similar to a head shop and could NEVER find one. Come to find out, there was one in the next town. The only ways I heard about was from a friend and one friend only. I hope I helped you.

Actually, in casual conversation with a head shop owner, I found out that the Michigan gov't is supposedly enacting a whole bunch of new laws that will endanger head shops in the state. I don't remember the specifics, but I bet a quick google search could tell you more than I can....
