Anything Happenning in Manchester soon?

Hi all this is my first post, I'd like to go campaigning but sadly being up-north its hard to get funds to travel down to London for the occasional Anti-war demonstrations.
Is there anything planned happenning in Manchester for 2008, I'll march for anything wether its animal rights or against wars or against racism.
Does anyone know of anything happenning soon or in 2008?
