ok so there is this girl ive been hanging out/talking with lately, she's going through hard times right now so i do my best to cheer her up/make her laugh so Christmas is coming along and im trying to think up something to give her, jewelry seems cheesy, so im just looking for something cute/funny and practical that will make her smile every time she see's it, nothing too expensive though any ideas would be appreciated Thanks
cute/funny and practical dont go together,,one or the other.. its kinda hard not knowing her likes an dislikes,, for example,my significant other would be tickled pink with a pitch fork,,where as im not sure your friend would be...
yeah its more of a friend to friend gift, so thats why I said no jewelry not to mention its not that creative ill go wander the mall like tomorrow and see if anything pops out at me
It really does depend on what she likes or doesn't like. Here are some basic ideas: A really soft scarf, gloves, her favorite candy in a mug or other container, funny slippers or socks, or something along those lines. None are "too" personal, but convey "thinking of you" since you want to make her smile. All the items are between $5-20 so they are pretty affordable. Good luck.
Depending on the friend, if I received that for a gift I'd either be totally creeped out, or be laughing my ass off...lol I liked the idea that someone had about a scarf or some socks or the mug with candies...I always like getting stuff like that - it's kind of comforting and somewhat personal, but more on a friends level.
i'd be even amazed that someone was even thinking about me !! HAHA All the ppl i know just think me me me me
Yeah, I agree. Plus if the size is wrong it could convey the wrong message "You want me to put that where?!?" :uhoh2:
There's always music. A mix with some of your favorite songs.. cheer-up songs, melancholy songs.. whatever you think will help her out. It's personal enough and will probably put a smile on her face for the effort you'd put into it. Depending on how close you guys are.. you could bake her cookies, take her out to eat or to the movies... good books are nice. I don't know.. what does she like?
