I kniow you can get flashbacks from LSD use, but Im not sure if I've had one yet. I've been doing it for s while now. Can someone describe what Flashbacks are like from their experiences?
Actually this is not a proven fact, and it is pretty rare that someone just starts 'tripping out' from seemingly nowhere and for no reason, and though it does happen, that doesnt exactly have to mean it was due to prior LSD use. -
Things still kind of wave around for me, only when I'm tired though and only when I really focus on it. I think thats just kind of normal though. I mean even now, if you sit down and really focus for a long time and meditate. Things in your vision will get ever so slightly distorted. I can drift into a sort of, half awake, half asleep, consciously dreaming state really easily after LSD and get some pretty vivid experiences. But flashbacks, no. No full blown come back of LSD. I can get some of the feelings from LSD back, like new perceptions almost. I can get some of the highly free-associating thought processes. But no flashbacks.
I've had panic attacks when I've been super high on bud which could possibly be described as acid flashbacks (it certainly felt very similar to tripping), but, who knows. There isn't really any consensus on what flashbacks are, who gets them, and when. I have heard stories of people randomly tripping out at work, etc., but who knows if they are true.
I used to have them when I was high with weed. Then I did acid again. Then they stopped happening. As of now I still have hppd, which came from smoking way too much weed while on acid. Be careful, hppd is nothing you ever want to deal with, ever.
iv only had a handfull of flashbacks. deffinatly flashbacks. you'll know your having a flashback when a real flashback happens. i had one 'intense' flash back when i was stoned and hi on e's and speed, i was in the very room i took acid on, and it was a very sudden shift, a very certain feeling, and looking down at my hands and around was very distinct in what acid was, and i felt all of what acid had, and some other strange mind effects. only other times have mostly all been at work. i had 2 flashbacks in one day at work. just walkin down the corridor attending drinks (drink waiter) and just the sudden acid feeling, and distraction in what you were doin, like you were gone for a few seconds, then come back, never have been bad, iv allways thought it was pretty cool. iv never called a flashback somthing where suddenly id see somthing in my vision, but rather a full on shift in conscousness with deffinative lsd feeling. the feeling for me, has allways been in relation to this one feeling i had on my most recent trip. it was a distint feeling i havent had on other trips, and is one which has caaused a few flashbacks. i dont want to imagine, some of the isane flashbacks some people on this thread must get? as long as their not terrifying i sapose it be ok.
I had several flashback's too. But they were nice and not a bad thing it was amazing, I was completely "clean" and then the street began to flow like water, but just for about 5-10 secs. I get more flashback's from other drugs (amphetamine). ciao !!
