Hey, just got my hands on a couple of bapes from San diego, did some research and they seem to be free of unwanted crap. Anyway, I know that after you roll you have to comeup and deal with depression for a bit. Is taking something like wellbutrin or any other antidepressant a good idea to bring you back to normal? My gut tells me its not a good idea to rape your brain chemistry like this, and if thats the case then I can deal with the depression; I would like to avoid it though. Also, I'm not prescribed any antidepressants to begin with, does that make taking them even worse? Im online right now looking into it. Appreciate the help thanks!
It's the comedown not the comeup that makes you depressed. Don't take antidepressants, they wont work either way cus you will have no serotonin left plus they fuck with your head much more than even E. That best way to avoid being depressed after rolling is to, plan for a light day the day after and hang out with some friends and do what you usually do to fell good. Smoke some weed and drink a few beers and try to get a grip on the big picture past your depression.
The comedown isnt THAT bad, it can be bad though. You just gotta remember that is the comedown from the E and that it will soon pass and you'll be ok.
Some people recommend SSRI's for the next few days after rolling (and possibly reduce neuroxicity), I've never heard anyone recommend Wellbutrin for this purpose though. MDMA also makes it harder to sleep for certain individuals; Wellbutrin is known for causing insomnia as well, so it's not a great combo if only for that reason. In terms of dealing with the comedown, I think the best thing you can do for yourself is get some sleep and let your body recuperate. At any rate it won't be especially damaging to your health to take any antidepressant once (unless you have some weird reaction to it, or perhaps certain health conditions or medications that are incompatible).
Never had aproblem with any sort of come down. I just used to wake up, pull some bong hits and go on about my business. Some of you might be over-thinking this a bit.
