It gets good at the end, I promise I dozed off while watching star wars (all my "best" dreams are when I just doze off, I just realized this)... and I dreamt I was leading a crew of a few people blasting through some space ship sort of thing. We knew right where we were going, and blasted our way there. It was extremely star wars ish, if you know what I'm talking about. I wasn't a Jedi, more of a rebel recon team. The dream was in third person at this point, it was exactly like playing resident evil, only I was "playing" myself. Anyway... we blast through all the bad guys, and make it to the... I don't recall what it was called, but I knew exactly what it was. We strapped ourselves into what was like a ride here at six flags great america called the giant drop. It wasn't a ride, it was more like the chairs/harnesses waiting through an open elevator door. So we strap in, and feel AWESOME, we just accomplished what we needed to accomplish.. but as soon as we started moving, we knew something was horribly wrong. Here is where the dream gets really... I mean *really* intense. We slowly go up, I am unsure of my fate at this time, I know whats about to happen, but I have yet to accept it... at this point I'm in the first person. I look up, and the shaft leads outside of the building/ship.. we are on earth btw... and once it gets outside, it falls backwords and we are going face first straight at the ground. At this point I've "caught up" completely and am in an extremely vivid first person view of certain death. I asked the question are these the last moments of my life, I answered it with a yes, and all in one instant felt a horrible horrible TERROR... it was extremely comparable to my salvia trip (when I couldn't find my way back to whatever I once was before smokin)... perhaps *exactly* the same feeling. I watched the fall real time, at this point I'm looking right at the ground (green grass/trees it was now an amusement park) in lucid detail, feeling the wind, feeling my heart pounding, holding my breath... it was more real than any other dream I've had. Here's the oddest part... I hit the ground, .000000001 second of horrible pain, .000000000001 second of black, and then it rewinds and I'm back in the sky going up, but in the exact same state of terror, as if time was going backwords... then I wake up and it feels like I almost choked to death. I felt like I had just been recessitated... And tonight I basically have an epiphony while meditating... everything just came together... quite frankly I feel like a completely different person... almost as if I did die, and someone much better replaced me. An incredible series of events, the most significant day I've had in a long time.... just thought I'd share
Wow that is so awesome that you can remember so much detail. I never can remember much beyond basic emotions. So I guess your subconscious has been really busy, hence the epiphany and elation!
whoa. i've heard that if you die in a dream, you actually die, but idk how true that is. thats really crazy through.
No it's not true  You can die while your awake if you take enough LSD and still be kicking around
