Maharishi Mahesh Yogi taught that through TM samadhi was easily experienced. That also was my experience. he said that if one pulls one leg of a table then they all will come, and that since samadhi is the most blissful part of the Asthangas of Patanjali that therefore the other limbs would develop quicker that way. Of course, one could extrapolate this beyond Maharishi and TM that any path which facilitates samadhi would be the fastest path. You do understand that you're describing Patanjali's Eight Limbed Yoga (Ashta Angha Yoga). There are other forms of yoga, and there are the Agamas.
