Why do you/people find it entertaining? I've never really gotten into it... I mean.. actualy doing it is a great laugh and it keeps you fit. But watching it? People get so carried away and devote their whole lives to sport (namely football here) and end up just being a brain full of statistics names and nationalism. They spend too much time talking/worrying about other people running around fields and not enough time on themselves.. and other skills/hobbies. I can see how watching the odd match can be enjoyable.. but going to see all the games and knowing the names of hundreds of players?
once its truly in you, it doesn't go away its entertaining. when i'm not competing, i'm watching or reading about sports. its one of my hobbies...
though, i'm not just a brain full of stats and useless crap. you watch the games and you can learn from them...learn tactics and strategies...learn defense/offense. you start understanding the game on a pure level, minus that stats and star players...thats if you participate in that sport or you are in a position to coach it
i used to do voleyball and i felt great at the time, now i don't do anything and feel like an old person i don't watch any spoerts at tv, it borres me to death
I used to ski regularly, karate, swim, and ive dabbled in equestrianism, gymnastics and dance...now I also do nothing! Although: I am going boarding soon due to the season, and I am seeking dance and yoga classes to take for myself
I like watching sports, although I'd much rather be playing. Some people do go way overboard. The only thing I'll watch consistently without getting up for three hours is kickboxing.
