my sister just told me one xmas. like duh didnt you know already? it was a major buzz kill she always ruined things for me. she was also the first person to tell me how babies are really made... my mum told me babies were made by hugging and kissing for years. i thought the easter bunny was real for ages cos one night before easter i thought i saw him through the crack of my door (ha) i dont know if it was a dream or just something white i mistook for a rabbit.
i was in first grade, and teeter tottering with a boy named peter, and he told me. i always just played along though. and even when i got older, i figured it was a given, so i still played along, my mom actually got worried that i really did believe in santa, and in jr high she sat with me and asked me if i knew that he wasnt real!!! in jr high!!! i was like .....um yes. lol.
I honestly always knew Santa was fake when I was a kid. I just pretended to believe because my parents went through so much trouble trying to pretend my step-dad and uncle were Santa Clause.
Well 38 yous suns ov beaches (runs away screaming) LOL No I was like maybe 7 or 8 at best and had my doubts before that.
I was 8 or 9. I found all of my Christmas gifts that were from Santa...plus I didn't think it was possible for all the gifts to arrive in one night.
 I dunno, but I never was overly interested in the man himself, I was obsessed with the reindeer. We used to leave out a plate of fruit for them and the highlight of my holidays were the talking reindeer at the mall.
My parents never told me about santa and i dont think i ever believed in him but you never know - maybe when i was really really little. They never tryed to convince me he was real or anything. To be honest i dont think we ever had a proper christmas and all cos although we had the presents and the tree and all we're not christians which is why i think they never said it was true. But then again i never believed in the Easter Bunny either.
I was six and I caught the 'rents putting the presents out. But I was very mature about it and sat down with them the next day and confirmed the tooth fairy, Easter bunny, and Santa Claus were all just fun traditions. My brother, however, believed until he was 10, so Santa visited me still every year until I was 15. Wahahaha.
My parents never did the whole Santa thing and I never believed in him. My relatives would talk to me about Santa when I was real young, and I'd just be like 'whatever. I get my gifts from Y'ALL.' I liked it that way. I don't intend to lie to my kids. Not everybody agrees with me on that though. My sister wishes she'd had that as a young child.
i was like 8. funny story. one christmas my parents were bringing in one of my sister's presents. it was this cd holder spinning thing for my sister, and that christmas it was her present from santa. lol ..
