have you ever encountered any famous people in your dreams? i really can't remember if i have, i do remember i saw a pro wrestler once, back when i was into the wwe. that was about 3 or so years ago. what about you?
famous people? well i met a couple of sciffy authors a few times. i've been to several conventions in my dreams, as i have in real life, and of course one of the things about them is getting to brainstorm and shaire experiences with people you may have read or something. i don't know, other then that, people are just people. you run into them in life, you run into them in dreams. no thing. celebrity is just a job, for those that have it. i don't see any good reason i should have or want, to treat it any differently myself. i guess some people who are powerful enough you have to worry about a little, that's something else. especially spoiled idiots who have a lot of power. but in my dreams, no. in my dreams the people i meet in them, when i meet anyone in them, are the people who live there, wherever i happen to be in them. or occassionally someone else wandering in like me. that is to say when i am. a lot of the time, some of the places, i'm one of the people who live there too. i wouldn't even be a bit surprised if some of the people that a meet near where i live in them, are other people visiting there in THEIR dreams. just no way i've figgured out to tell for sure really. most of the time anyway. other then that one time i was at a kind of dreamshaping contest, and the other finalists there WERE definately other people, that i had never personally met on this side as far as i know, who WERE from this world, and there for the same reason and purpose i was. I vaguely recall once having a long chat with David Lynch during a dream... I can't remember what was said though.
i agree completely they are normal people, but what sets them apart is that they are registered in our mind, unlike the vast majority of other normal folk, which is why they may appear in our dreams which is the reason i made this thread
well, as someone who doesn't find 'entertainment' very entertaining, unless i'm a particapent rather then just a spectator (i was in my highschool band way back, and in a recorder consort in the s.c.a.), people like authors, engineers and architects register in my mind a hell of a lot more then actors or anything to do with the entertainment industry. about the closest thing to entertainers who'se names and or faces register in my mind are a very few electronic musicians, local noncomercial radio broadcasters, some of whome also happen to be musicians, some of the furrys i've met, a few personally and many more on line, and then like i say, authors and story tellers, a few of whome i've also met, at least once, generally at conventions. and then of course other people i have met online and, very rarely, occasionally in real life. =^^= .../\...
